It rains in Sydney more than Melbourne, and Sydney has more severe storms. Regarding universities in Melbourne, Deakin University and Latrobe University were not mentioned. Melbourne has many beaches on the Port/Bay and further out on the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas.
