Where did the time go.. I've wasted so much time lamenting and chasing after things that don't matter. Life is slipping through my fingers... Leon was raised up by a most wonderful friend he didn't know he had. I wish that could happen for everyone. Leon said it to Elton. Bless you. I wish it was 1965; a much more loving time.

Seen him live at the Oklahoma City all day and nite concert when it was about 95 degrees out. Foghat was there too and I can’t remember who all else. But I went only to see LEON. 1991 I believe. Leon one of the best.

Too bad that there's no Morgus the Magnificent (Morgus Presents) videos TV episodes to show from the Detroit Days of '64-65. It was phenomenal.

Don Nix’s book (Memphis Man: Living High, Laying Low ) is one of the funniest books I have ever read. I got to know his music through an hour ylong video with Leon Russell, then learned he has released some fabulous music of his own. Enjoyed this video with The Wallbangers!

Leon Russell has a great "sound', combining Blues, soul, and some boogie woogie, to add some scintillating spice to the mix. It creates a great, sensual party atmosphere.

So cool to see the background of all the people there while he’s recording this. I’m in the Boston area I used to be around when all the great local bands are in the 80s and I used to be able to go backstage just like this.
