sand can cause irritation of their eyes, i typically use paper towels as the bedding bc they are easier to clean up, bedding does vary from gecko to gecko

I got mine I have from the family who are young kids that asked me if I wanted it got it for free. I had no idea how to take care of one. I had to do all the research after I got it not knowing much about them I have bearded dragons for references, so I do know my lizards. I know how to take care of a different type than a dragon. I’ve had him for about a half now he’s pretty good now. Doesn’t run away is healthy and chubby because I’m still fingered how much to feed him from online. I’m doing it correctly I got him gendered last week. she might be a giant gecko. I have no idea. She’s all good though even though I thought she was a guy for the first year and a half😂
