Works on Acceleration. Most things in baseball are quick bursts of speed so acceleration is HUGE for baseball players

Nice pitch, I used to throw that back when I was in sixth grade lol. I’m in my 30s now. I got to ask does it feel like when you throw it? I always almost felt like I was aiming at the batter to just get it to cuts in to the strike zone.

Yes, he definitely can do these. Don't be afraid to add in some lifts/exercises with weights as well as that can help him build a solid foundation when starting young!
