Very long-time fan of the KH series, 2 of course is my favorite of them all not just the gameplay (despite it being awesome) but it was the story and new characters that captivated me as a kid. To be exact, it was Roxas. Something about him just connected and I was drawn more to see if this nobody despite being part of Sora could be his own. Fast forward to 3 and though it is my least favorite I almost gave up on it but forced myself through. SPOILER WARNING! Once finally getting to the graveyard the memories of my past times of playing previous titles returned and I can confess that graveyard was THE best part of the entire game. Seeing Roxas return and not just him but Xion as well! It was impactful for me at least, to finally see these guys be more than just some shell. Funny part is the VA for Roxas I actually despise as a singer but was pretty damn shocked to find out he would be the voice I would come to like the most of all the KH crew. With all this said, I can't wait for the day I get to sit down with my son and show him this fantastic game and show him where his name came from.

The Hikari Jazz track does such a good job of creating the sense of a refugee community trying to find joy and hope and connection in the midst of all this apocalyptic chaos and destruction.
