Good opportunity wasted there - no point playing silly music when you could talk us through the procedure, ie which screws are mounting and which are just for adjusting then mad rush at the end !

Was going to suggest spraying the oil on from the back where the thread is exposed, but in the fast bit at the end I think that's how you got it going eventually. Looks like the fixtures were rotted, so did you replace the whole thing?

I’m going to switch mine out from an aftermarket to the Morpar factory hitch. When I cut the bumper for the plastic frame it using a cutoff tool. Seems easier this way. I thought about the dealership doing it but it’s going to run $750.00. I can do this myself.

At 6:06 I see why the wiring harness has the little nodule. I guess mine came prewired since it has this on the side of the harness. I have an aftermarket hitch that I’m replacing with a Mopar factory hitch. So this confirms my initial thought.

Did you have the factory prewired harness or did you have to add it?

How much did the dealership charge to activate the wire harness?

Great video just what I needed to know.. I have seen other Videos on this too but is it true you have to take the SUV to the dealership to activate the wire harness that is attached to the Trailer?
