You have to have an Asian fishing rig to catch Asian carp, Dave. Everyone knows that.

Try having a treble hook in your thumb while another one of the hooks on the lures is in the 5 lb pikes mouth....and you're in a kayak. I have had it happen twice in a year....I need to invest in gloves.

I haven't thought about hellgramites for years! When I was a teenager I found them under rocks in the Saline river. At night the adult form would fly around under street lights. Ugly!

Poor Joe! I had motion sickness as a kid and they kept me doped up on Dramamine. Thats what the adults said anyway. Those Mahi Mahi are the most beautiful color! And delicious pan seared in butter.

What an awesome catch, congrats! You were so excited, I would be too. Night fishing was always my favorite. Less hot and no sun exposure.

I came to the comments just to see what ppl said the fish might be. So cool. Nothing definitive. I'm going back and watching all of these vids, getting back into fishing.

NEVER clean the lobsters before you get them home. They have to be whole in order to properly measure them. Once you remove the tail, Fish & Wildlife can't properly measure them, and they are, by default, illegal.

Peacock bass aren’t invasive, they were introduced to control the invasive tilapias we have here in Florida. Good video either way
