Wasn't such a winner for me ,just bought the proscan for my 2000 nissan xterra and i was as dissapointed as i possibly could be because it did nothing. it couldn't read the vin , it did not recognize the engine nor the transmission and nothing else. even though my vehicle is listed as one of the vehicles that it covers. i even asked them on the phone prior to buying it if it works on said vehicle. What a disappointment. One other thing customer support is very iffy and not at all professional ,at least here on the east coast of the US at the New Jersey location

WARNING - If you want to retain anything more than basic features then you will have to pay $50 / £30 EVERY YEAR! Otherwise it essentially becomes a basic scanner which could be bought for less than $20.

looking really closely at getting this to pull with my Model Y; curious if anyone in the comments has pulled it with model Y before, and what kind of efficiency numbers in wh/mi they are seeing while towing it. I was told by Topdon that the pro version programs keys straight out of the box. Is this not true? If not how much is the add on? Lastly, can you buy the $60 version and just add the key programming to it also?

What if you do not pay the fee one year (out of country or whatever reason) do you need to pay for years missed before it will work again? (I sometimes travel out of the country and am gone for a year or so).

Well you've given it the hard sell but as far as I can see I buy this thing, it works great with my car but then basically becomes brick if I don't cough up $100 each year just to keep using it. If I bought it, it works fine with my car, why should I have to pay each year to keep using it? Everything is a hustle these days.

I agree on the "knockoff" comment Jay. I learned the hard way this summer. I bought some "new" fuel injectors for our boat that were 20% the cost of Mercruiser's price from eBay. They worked but burned 15% more fuel than the other OEM engine. At $5/gallon on the water, burning 20/gal/hr, that adds up fast. I did find that the OEM for Merc was Magnetti Marelli and they made them for Merc. This did save some $$ but they work perfectly.

i have been seeing the same thing as far as weight to PSI for my tires. EVERONE is scared to death to not put the maxium PSI in their tires that 8t may lead to a blowout. Shame on the manufactures for not displaying this and just showing the max pressure!

Buy some 2x12s or some maintenance ramps and drive your back wheels of your truck on those

You should not tow the Hike 100 with a midsized SUV. The overall GVWR is low enough for most midsized SUVs, however the tongue weight is grossly underestimated and far exceeds most midsized SUV’s tongue weight capacity.

Guys make sure that your connected to it via Bluetooth. I made the mistake in having it connected to my iPhone no issues but soon as I used a new phone I never went to the Bluetooth settings to connect it.
