Just went and Sat on a Sport scout and a Chief dark horse at the el cajon location, im a new rider but man i felt SMALL on that Dark Horse i dont know if its just cause im new but pretty intimidating. Demo days just started so ill be back, thinking about getting the Sport scout. 6’2 so idk why i felt small

man clean your carb and syncro, change spark plug and air filter, you can ride 700000 miles with this bike

I just changed mine after 13k!! I took them to the limit for sure! I was so surprised I was able to get that many miles out of them! I changed front and back, pretty even wear for both. Thanks to you and @valorcycle for your tips!

I get people taking pics of my chief dark horse all the time. Ain't even got the windshield for it, just the solid saddle bags and black highway bars. It's got a passenger seat with the backrests for me and the passenger so it's different enough lol. Word of advice people, DON'T get a Harley. Get an Indian.

after a while you'll be annoyed of thar noise :) it took me 1 year with Rinehart ( which sound better than those) but still, will make custom db killers or switch back to stock

Finally Viking has an easier install. Mine I had to figure out the height and drill holes and balance and guess, a lot, to put locking bags like that on my scout.

Great video, and it shows basically exactly how I approach lane splitting. I’ve only had to do it a few times, and it’s generally when I’m on the 405 in The Valley, but yeah, I’m surprised at how many people actually get out of your way intentionally. I have even had truckers give me a thumbs up or wave me through to let me know that they see me.

Just got mine! Nice bags but their QA is pretty bad. Holes in the right bag are about an inch too far to the rear, waiting to hear from support now before drilling them out myself.

I have a new scout rogue 24 model and found out that it has a usb port! And it also self cancels my turn signals…sometimes. I’m not sure what triggers the cancel but I don’t have to manually cancel it most of the time.
