Great info Dave, wish I would’ve watched this sooner, perhaps my center serving would still be intact. Nonetheless, the new string will be here soon and I’ll will get to refetching and knocking my practice Center point HPX shafts.

also i’m confused you said after cocking let back twice then once with the gear stop but on my 425 siege a sticker says “ backed d handle once and then hood gear stop and manually rotate silver knob backward until it stops

@@jojogrow5815 this year they went to a different series of instructions in an attempt to get people to stop over back cranking. As noted on that brake most times two turns back is all you need to do

Excellent review! Makes a man want to spend some money on the latest and greatest. I've never weighted my Assassin 360, however, 9.97 lbs. sound pretty light. I would bet mine weights more than that.

I purchased my first Excalibur from Wyvern's back in 2018. I purchased the Assassin 360 and it has been a solid bow with zero issues. I saddle hunt and it has proven to be rugged. I pulled it from the case prior to NC bow season a couple weeks back and could still drives tacks with broad heads. Can't say enough good about Excalibur.

Hey thanks for this info I have a Ten Point Wicked Ridge Raider 400 With cock and de-cock I have shot this crossbow around 40-60 shots and I can see orange bow string thru the black severing I was going to contact Ten Point but I guess this isn't necessary thanks for your Expert advice MattBoB NH Hunter

I have the 10 point siege for 25, it doesn’t have the pin in the crank handle to disengage the front string which makes the brush extend beyond the end. How can I disengage it?

That one you can’t. It has a different dfi system

So what you’re saying is that it doesn’t disengage at all. If that’s the case, can I put a slight tension on it to put the brush back behind the front so it doesn’t get damaged?

For those people trying to do this. Watch the video, when David turns the compressed air can upside down that is the key to the issue. That when your nock becomes freezing cold. Pause for 30 seconds letting the nock becoming even colder, then use the hammer. And yes the 1/8" rod works and you can get it through the bolt. I did 6 in 3 minutes once I when back to watch the video again.

I tried it. So stiff to turn I thought I’d break the shaft. But I did it.. then I still couldn’t turn it off . Used pliers and it broke. Now my I can’t use an expensive arrow either. Once you put them in you can’t get them out. These things suck!! I will never buy another ravin because they are greedy and there proprietary arrows suck too. If you’re lucky 5 arrows out of 12 will fly thesame.

But it can't affect flight at shorter distances. I'm shooting regular montecs on my crossbow bolts, and they are literally hitting the same hole as my field points at 20 and 30 yards. I'm not taking further shots, so i can't ask for better performance than that.

Great video I just bought a viper 430 I have about 70 shots in it. Then I started noticing the string separating a little bit. It had me very nervous but this explains why it’s doing that. I definitely have a peace of mind now.

Nicely done video! And a fair assessment of TENPOINT's newest introductions. I'm more impressed with their second-tier line, or the WICKED RIDGE offerings. I'm currently shooting the M-370 which took five deer last season. I'm looking seriously now at both the Wicked Ridge VIPER S415 and also their newest reverse draw option as well. Might wait till next year as they introduce more new technology and drop the price on the existing models. We shall see. Wish I lived closer to your shop!

Just curious what my wicked ridge Blackhawk 360 would prefer bolt wise, right now I’m using the aluminum xx75 bolts but want to upgrade to premium carbons, specifically woven carbon shafts, so are the evo x center punch a good choice? I see your prices on your website are great for them

I have been trying to find out if I am to wax the serving where it rides over the rail or use lube on my flatline 460. I think you answered that question. Was looking for a bit more information on the exact wax and lube spots but still good info.

Just bought the Flatline 460. Have not installed the Burris scope that came with it yet. Would it be wise for me to pull those two bolts and use blue loctite on them and tighten them down? if so will i need this in a bow press if I remove those bolts?

The turbo is narrower and more tunable but more money. Can’t go wrong it’s a trade off. Both are great bows

I have a problem with both my crossbow and my two rifles. Even if I bring the crossbow/rifle up to my eye, I have to tilt my head to about a 40° angle to look through the scope. Does this affect accuracy?

It can. Your generally not comfortable in that position you may want to try taller scope rings

So if the Rhino nock is used then why do you need the arrow retention spring? They should’ve stayed with the Guardian system…Excalibur dropped the ball here. What’s the actual draw weight of the limbs…300 ish pounds?

@@WyvernsCreations and holy shit I wish I’d had ordered a wyverized mag 340 from you for that price 🤦🏼 either way i normally make my own arrows just don’t have the time and can’t handle the anxiety of it anymore I had some maxima hunter reds cut and some half inch long victory inserts and a grim reaper mini mag getting pass throughs on michigan bucks at 50 yards with that set up total weight about 411 grains but not really proper set up for bow broadheads stick out way past stirrup so have to pay attention not to bump and not proper knock had string go underneath last arrows sent and tear vein off still killed the buck though only went 22 yards I ranged him from tree so looking for proper fitting upgrade

I have the tenpoint havoc rs440 and some how the left trigger release pin fell off gone. I'm not sure where it came off, and I'm not sure how it came off. Where can I find one. Also, can the bow still work after getting wet in the rain. One day, my bow got wet, and when I attempted to de-cock and it make lots cranking noise, any explanation is appreciated

Ya…that is all one piece. You will want a service center to replace that for you they won’t sell just the part. There is a bushing that is probably gummed up from being wet. Same deal a service center can pop out the crank and clean the bushing for you
