I have a bunch of libraries now (Spitfire, 8dio, Cinebrass), but for some reason, I keep using Carpenter trombone ...

Only problem with scripts like this (which I see all too often) is you are making the UI come to a halt while waiting. This is very very bad to do, and will make your UI/UX sluggish or unresponsive. In a callback, you do not want to kill time.

It's not free to download. Costs $5 now, while the FAQ says it's $1.

The library is awesome! Like other Ivy libraries!)) For me, as a drummer, it is more attractive due to the mics bleed - so cool! It's a real gym for mixing live drums))) Thank you very much, Simon! The approach is superb! Are you planning any other libraries to record?

That kontakt plugin sounds good but it gives me a problem (I still don't handle kontakt very well) and that is that only the low notes sound, the middle or high notes don't. Any solution?

Hey Ivy Audio, thanks for this information. Do you remember how much RAM and what processor you were using at the time? Was it 32GB RAM? I'm looking to build a music production PC able to have a underuns free workflow with Kontakt. Do you have an advice for RAM and CPU on a budget let's say of 3K?

Another note: the fact that you let open to explore the KSP script is an enormous help, much appreciated!

I have not checked the KSP script yet, but just to make it clear: do I understand correctly that in the Settings menu the respective control knobs have impact on the legato transition and/or release samples only, correct?

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I learned so many new techniques in this video. Reaper continues to amaze me because of videos like yours. I started with Cakewalk DOS and paid $99 to $199 continuously for updates through Pro-Audio 8, (they discontinued shortly after that). Four+ years ago I thought, "what do I have to lose but $60." I have received free updates continuously and I haven't even scratched the surface of Reaper's potential. The SWS extensions are great!

Interesting stuff. I’m definitely spoiled on the object-oriented languages I use. A lot of what you demonstrated is pretty low-level stuff (which is common for procedural programming languages) and is otherwise abstracted out in other more popular languages making for easier learning and less lines of code to write. I don’t know how much time, effort and money NI puts into KSP development, but there are certainly several fundamental things they could do to make it easier to use thereby increasing user base, which leads to increased instrument creation, which leads to more revenue for them. I think I’ll have to dive into KSP to add to my tool belt. Thanks for your videos.

By the way, for non-programmers, “low-level” refers to detailed code writing, it’s not a criticism of what this guy is doing.

Thank you for this. I know it has been a while but have you thought about creating any new paid vocal libraries? I like the Clare solo library as much as many of the expensive paid libraries and would be excited to see what else you could make. Ha - maybe I saw you around campus, I'm a UA student as well. Great work though.

Thank you. It’s probably a silly comment, but I don’t understand why every little step is so complicated when in other apps you can set things in a more efficient way. I mean, I understand this is much more powerful and customizable but… in Serum you right-click the parameter you want to control and in the menu you select “macro 1” and you have a knob with the function you want. It’s not exactly the same but it’s just as an example. Something like that would be interesting for people without programming knowledge in order to make basic controls. And they can let the code for the people that want to make more complicated stuff. I don’t know… it’s very overwhelming, and a lot of us don’t have interest in learning a programming language but we could offer a lot of interesting instrument projects if it was more accessible.
