Decide which style to play depending on the situation. Jeff is one of the harder monsters to play but if you learn to play metal to magnet you can catch anybody as long as they're close. He plays closely related to Vita Mimic having to stealthily move towards his targets and sound and flashlights become a big factor when playing against Mimic. The same applies with Jeff, only difference is he''s human and somehow has heartbeat highlights most of the time but they play the same game. I think for bigger maps you just can't depend on bloodlust to catch your enemies. On smaller maps like Fazbear Freights and the new map Asylum, rage style just works well. He's probably the most conditional monster in the game because of his contradictory abilities. Choose your path accordingly and your playstyle will change with it.

Using both styles is great, Stealth to try to reach the survivor withou being noticed and Psychopathic to chase the survivor, or reach a survivor faster, jefferson the murderer overall looks a great killer

I think the best way to play this character is by mixing both together. Using stealth to sneak up to unsuspecting survivors and using psycho when close by mutiple players

dude when a jeff js on the server, i always get spy tf2 paranoid and ALWAYS look behind me everytime i feel silent

depends on the players there, how skilled you are, and some other stuff

He got reworked because of the pro players, he could kill everyone in less of 2 minutes, the first rework didn't helped a lot to avoid this problem, so there was the third rework to nerf this and make it way harder and fair to the new players survive atleast

doing a mix of both is pretty fun too I'm mostly stealth, but when I actually hit someone while crouched or get spotted I chase after them with the rage from crouching + maniacal haste, and if I get the kill with maniacal haste I go after anyone I come across till I either run out and go back to stealth or server wipe somehow

Honestly, my first game as jeff and i used a mix of both, and i wiped a lobby, i suggest doing what you like

tbh the playstyles depends on maps if small maps with alot of cover then stealth if big map or with a bit of cover or a map like pellet chase go for pyschopath

I think both styles are very situational/map dependant like Stealth for Small maps with dead ends and psychopath for bigger maps with less dead ends.

lore wise, it makes sense, jeff is pretty good at silent kills, but in the end, he is just a slightly above average guy on crack after he was given a knife, meanwhile the mimic is a species litterally designed for stealth and ambush

Jeff is like better than spring trap due to the fact that the KZbinr using Jeff almost did a wipeout with no double trouble, no throwing ability and kills Players that try to juke
