Saddest thing I might have seen this year. Kool and the Gang should have been in the Rock and Roll Hall 20 years ago. Not know, when they is only one original member still alive.

I love Kool and the Gang...I've always loved JT...IMHO JT with his fine ass is what made this group so famous...Glad he performed with the group again. Rest in paradise to all the members that have passed on....Celebration & Cherish!!!❤️❤️❤️

Only Robert “Kool” Bell, was alive for the induction. Bell is the only living member of the original lineup, following a cluster of recent deaths, including drummer and songwriter George Brown in 2023, saxophonist, flutist and percussionist Dennis Thomas in 2021 and Bell’s composer brother, Ronald, in 2020. The Hall was a little late as if they just did this 4 years ago they would have had four members remaining, including they song writer. At least JT was willing to come back for one night to recreate some of their greatest hits. The guy who started it playing guitar the first minute was Robert Bell getting the star light one last time. At least they were able to recreate Celebration, their biggest hit with the key singer.

I have always loved Kool & The Gang. The voice of JT was so memorable. First heard them around age 18 as i was a staunch Jackson 5 fan and loved Michael. I am now 64 and still love this band and their music. Well deserved.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is so watered down. They induct so many insignificant clown acts into the hall that have no influence on music or society. Far to many true artist are shunned for clown acts. I'm truly happy to see "Kool & The Gang inducted into the hall. When will "The Ohio Players" be inducted ?? and they're from Ohio where the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is located.

After losing his brother (co-founder) and other original band members.... [ Co-founder ] "Kool" had to swallow his pride and reunite with JT Taylor. Death will bring perspective....no matter how many decades passed.
