@@lapson19 I had conversation with Rober Kool Bell son 2 - 3 years ago. I rhold him: - The singer who sing with the Gang, he is not level what KATGang need.. James JT Taylor is Worls class singer, with beatuful color voice, fantastic musicality, improvisation in phrases! His answer: - JT is nothing special..he has only good falseto..you dont know who is good singer..you dont know nothing... My answer: - Listen son of Robert Kool Bell.. I am sure the big boss of Kool and the Gang, he think only for quantity, 100 koncerts and money. About singing, please shut up, because i am opera singer - tenor soloist more than 30 years and i am solo singing - opera teacher in Uuniversity,, James JT Taylor is World class singer, if he did not come 1979 with your fatber i will never know that Kool and the Gang exsist. First song what i have listen was Get down on it and Now show. The voice what i have listen in that moment, imidiatly i start listen unril today. Goodbay son of Robert Kool Bell.

I have always loved Kool & The Gang. The voice of JT was so memorable. First heard them around age 18 as i was a staunch Jackson 5 fan and loved Michael. I am now 64 and still love this band and their music. Well deserved.

Only Robert “Kool” Bell, was alive for the induction. Bell is the only living member of the original lineup, following a cluster of recent deaths, including drummer and songwriter George Brown in 2023, saxophonist, flutist and percussionist Dennis Thomas in 2021 and Bell’s composer brother, Ronald, in 2020. The Hall was a little late as if they just did this 4 years ago they would have had four members remaining, including they song writer. At least JT was willing to come back for one night to recreate some of their greatest hits. The guy who started it playing guitar the first minute was Robert Bell getting the star light one last time. At least they were able to recreate Celebration, their biggest hit with the key singer.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is so watered down. They induct so many insignificant clown acts into the hall that have no influence on music or society. Far to many true artist are shunned for clown acts. I'm truly happy to see "Kool & The Gang inducted into the hall. When will "The Ohio Players" be inducted ?? and they're from Ohio where the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is located.
