Can you please explain stick smash vs full body smash? I feel like I’m using my shoulder (incorrectly) as you showed, whereas the stick smash naturally leads to a (correct) racket swing. I imagine both should use a racket swing and minimal shoulder. I’m assuming the full body smash is simply more rotation & bigger backswing + followthrough, but my beginner brain can’t break it down.

Do you think you can't do it because you don't know how? Imagine increasing your accuracy by 1% per week. In a year, that's a 52% improvement. If there's an answer outside of practice, it's not a sport.

❤ the secret to hit bombs is to wait for shuttle to be in the zone where if you swing n twist your torso the fastest possible while jumping or hopping and the shuttle will be hit… while waiting for the shuttle you have the option to look at your opponent’s position n decide the location or angle you want to place your shot n adjust grip accordingly… then jump twist n swing and boom it will fly
@full-swing
@full-swing 4 күн бұрын
Yes, that's right. Don't be in a hurry, you have to wait. It's a problem if you're too late, but usually amateurs rush too much, which leads to bigger problems.

Dear Teacher, you and Your videos so far useful to me. I am finger our many things lately after learning your lessions. I just practice and be succeedful. But one thing. I do understand, I've grasped the concept of generating power using fingers 3, 4, 5, with the thumb and index finger's angled position. However, when swinging forehand, I feel insecure and fear of dropping the racket. Thus, I automaticly hold the racket with my index finger nearly parallel to the other three fingers. Is this still fine? How can I improve?"
@full-swing
@full-swing 4 күн бұрын
There are many things to consider, such as the thickness of the fingers, the length of each, and the thickness of the badminton grip. So I can't give you an exact answer. You have to find it yourself. To do so, you need to identify what your most natural finger movements are and apply them. Try to feel the Racket as delicately as you would a pencil or chopsticks when you hold it.
