This is truly a band that should re-record songs like this and release them. They are so creative and if you love Shame, how can you not really love this version?

I'm a very new SP fan. From the little knowledge I've gathered, it would seem that after 'Mellon Collie' not many people liked 'Adore' because it was too "different"? Could be off on that, but that's such a shame (no pun intended). I'm not sure if it's intentional, but they have seemed to change these songs for live versions, and this song was perfect as is on the album. If they were trying to make the songs more likeable, that's a bummer. The super slow and dragging sound this song has on the album makes the song so much more emotional and "real".

@@scovafd welcome to the wonderful world of SP Fandom. Among other things, SP fans don't agree on a whole lot lol. I actually love Adore and love the studio version the most as well, but am a big fan of reinterpretation in a live setting. Yeah your general thoughts are on track, Adore was seen as a disappointment when it came out but in the years since has grown in stature. It still is an outlier as the only classic SP album without Jimmy Chamberlin. It's a drum machine on the original "Shame"

@@werideatdusk Ahh yeah I did not know that. Why wasn't Jimmy on this record? I know the band had a fall out, but like I said, I'm pretty oblivious with their history and I'm still making my way through their records, but Adore is currently my favorite

The script was written first by me. Then each line was fed into the web service of eleven labs. I downloaded each individual sound file and edited it together manually in Premiere along with the video portion. I'm sure there are shortcuts that I missed.

I love how Obama is the meditator between the other two, and Trump just spurts every single unpopular opinion - most of the time, anyway. I agree that Gish was an excellent album. But it's certainly nice to see Adore getting the love it deserves. While not quite as epic and iconic as Mellon Collie, I think it was an emotionally dynamic masterpiece, and their last truly perfect album. Zeitgeist was an ugly mess ... 'United States' and 'Tarantula' are bangers, but the overall production was awful. I hated how you could almost barely hear the bass.
