There was two outcomes for Digibro: A) He cuts out a lot of vices in life. Stops smoking everyday; drinks less; stops looking up certain internet things; realises his "friends" that encourage him to ruin his life aren't good friends at all. Imagine he would've become more disciplined and finished learning Japanese. He may have moved on from anime to more general Japanese culture stuff, becoming a respected savant that people generally appreciated, despite disagreements. B) Go full neurotic and shut out everyone that was genuinely concerned for his well being. Destroy everything that no longer suits his new identity (outright cultist behaviour) and completely trash his career. The clip at the end demonstrates that, somewhere deep down, he knew this was a bad path, but purposely closed his mind because it was more comforting. Well, we're living in the bad ending. If there's a moral to the story, he's a reminder that very bright minds are still very human minds. Surrounding oneself with people that don't encourage the best in you and horrible habits take their toll. Remember to love yourself, but also remember that tough love is a part of love.

As odd as it may seem i just got back to the lore of digibro it never occured to me that so much had happened over the course of 7 years i was in to their analyis video on anime since 2013 and binge watch all of it then stopped youtube algorithm changed and now i see their channel and so much has changed. and I've been listening to trash taste i know the term "after dark" wasn't coined by digibro but it just dawned on me what it was so familiar. I wonder if Trash taste will ever invite other anime youtuber in their podcast. I know they had super eyepatch wolf but maybe it depends on their accord if they're chill or not. (PS. I'm still not caught up this video gives me very little of context as to what happen to them)

It’s still surreal for me to think that I will probably never again be able to see a lot of the digibro content that I was such a huge fan of back in the day. From like 2017-2019 I was a huge digi fan, I was deep in the digibro after dark lore. But now she’s gone and removed almost all of those old videos and the channel that’s left isn’t even a shadow of its former self. Looking back, idk what captured me so much about her tbh. She’s pretty cringe. But then again, that was kind of the entire point of her channel was to be cringe bc there’s a chance it will resonate with a few people so well that it’s worth alienating everyone else. I guess I wanted to feel like one of those few, even to the extent I defended some of her more upsetting views. I learned a lot about being a critical consumer from Digibro, and those lessons will always remain with me, for better or worse.

I never did like any of her music tbh, but this one kinda struck a vibe with me, idk It’s edgy and cringe but it was genuine at least and I guess there’s something in there that resonated anyway
