I have owned half a dozen full size range rovers over the years and I’ve always been a little frustrated that they are a few years behind the competition in technology. As a current Rivian owner I’d be ready to swap to this new electric (and have been in the interest list since it was announced) but they have a fairly high bar to meet with Rivian and Tesla technology.

This could be the answer to the historical reliability thorn in the rear! Of the best Lux SUV. I’ve owned 2 in the past with hopes they get better but they like the repair shop… Please give us a reliable Range Rover, it’ll take over the game hands down. 🙏🏾

Many of my passengers in the rear seats of the new range rover tend to get car sick. Can you please do something about it? Either it is the body roll, the forward visibility (should have smaller headrests), the head tossing or it is the rear wheel steering.

@@precisionc3656 I'm a Tesla owner of 5 years and have driven the Rivian RT1 V1. Both of those vehicles were built prior to the release of zonal architecture which reduces the amount of wire needed during the build. Reports have suggested that the reduction on a vehicle like the refreshed Tesla Model 3 is close to 50%, bringing the wiring down from 3km to 1500m, I believe the refreshed Rivian R1S and R1T are similar. If there is anything I've learned from owning 15 Land Rover/Range Rovers, they're not known for their execution when it comes to electronics. Reducing moving components by going electric is exciting to me, but similarly, I would like a reduction in wiring.

EV is very wrong direction for JLR, maybe small amounts in hybrid. You better improve quality of existing ice engines etc and JLR will be selling more.

Maybe for you. I hate rap. And only hate “sampling” MORE! Yet this advert got me to buy a Defender over the RR Sport. So all depends on who you are. I hate the ad (the Wimbledon raining ad is my speed!) but this is one sweet ride. Black n tan and love it!! I just wish they’d say it’s model number.
