Love my defender and have become a defender driver for life, I have built and continues to to work on my cars and feel they made the defender pretty easy for us to work on (minus everything needing codes reset, which I bought the LR computer.) with that being said, to sell a LR like the defender at a reasonable price to a guy like me that off roads and is capable in repairs, maintenance and upgrades, I went to the dealer to reset the brake pad low code after installing new pads (which again I have the computer now) the service manager told me “leave it to the professionals “ Prior to that when purchased I was also very turned off by the sales of the extended stuff, I turned down the wheel protection and sent protection, and she told me “I guess if you want to ride around in something crappy looking” Pretty pretentious if you ask me and I will consider used ones moving forward
