I love both Katy and Russell. Their relationship didn't last but they both learned some valuable lessons and went through an inner transformation, of which both are now better people because of it. We never grow without pain. The best moments and achievements in my life came after a painful experience. I use it to make myself a better person, not a bitter person. I think of those who have hurt me, as teachers. Without them, I wouldn't be nearly as strong and resilient as I am.

Relationships are hard to work out in this world, but ok if she is happier now and closer to having what she want, maybe the right decision was made. What a thing it is though to still have so much pain about doing everything you could. I wonder if the same is true for Russell Brand. I agree with Katy Perry's romanticism. Love and relationships is not supposed to end if it is real, but I don't think the notion of making millions on a career is necessarily apart of that equation, case and point look at how relationships fare in hollywood and with the richest people in this world. I wish the best for Katy Perry and Russell Brand both, and it pains me that it didn't work out. I know and understand the pain of giving everything and yet still finding no way to make it work. Some values are just not relationship compatible, so if they are not given up a loving lasting relationship is impossible.
