Icons inevitably become an inconsistent mess because it's far less time consuming to update icons in bulk rather than one-by-one in the moment. And when icons play such a crucial role in maintaining a minimalist, organized workspace - which Notion claims to be - I just can't understand why they still haven't addressed ANY of the following: 1. Not saving uploaded icons, even for a small handful, like ten. 2. Not supporting emojis, color icons, or custom icons for property names. 3. No more than just eight native colors...and no gradients. 4. No feature for recent or suggested icons based on usage. - i.e. Project A uses green a lot and notes with "brainstorm" in the title are usually the thought bubble icon → green thought bubble icon

I was wondering if there was a way for the "Today's XP" formula to display all XP gained today, even for completing any overdue ones... (I'm using your formula for overdue tasks in your Second Brain template). Like can I still gain XP for catching up on old tasks that I've fallen behind on (without changing the due date)? Or even completing tasks ahead of schedule- basically is there a way to make it dependent on "completed date" rather than "due date"? (I've tried the "Last edited time" property, but that didn't seem to work for me, but I'm really new to formulas so I could be doing it wrong.) Thanks so much!

is there a formula that would display the total number of points you've earned for the day?

This is really helpful. I'm trying to set my calendar up so instead of 'day of the week' it's showing me tasks due that week out of 12 week period. (so the 'Day' that you have would be 'week' for me). How would I go about changing the formula for this?

What you can't see in notion is the overall structure of the project. You can easily diagram and see relational database structure diagram but, notion is like spaghetti junction. Notion takes more time to keep it updated than using it as a productive tool that informs you about anything.

I personally made it few days ago and it's helping me a lot .... but i have a doubt .... like what about those tasks which are left uncompleted they are not affecting our total XP .... is it anyway possible to decrease the total XP if we don't complete the task? .... as it will be helpful in long run .... can you plz help me ?

What if I want the tasks status don’t refresh? I want to calculate how much time I’ve spent in a month, how to connect the databases?

Add a penalty system, so if I don't do the task then I will have to do the penalty. If rewards are there then penalty should definitely exist!

Great tutorial! It would be good to have a levelling system; so that once you achieve a certain amount of Experience, you level up - giving you the ability to track how far you've come. The higher the level, the more XP you will need to achieve it.
