Very good tutorial. What's throwing me off is that you only have two columns for related notes, suggesting each note can only have one note related to it, when we all know that's not a likely scenario. Also, while it's easy to decide what note is related to another when you only have 5 notes, but when you have 2000 notes, how are we supposed to know what is related? What am I not understanding about this aspect?

Hey there! This was extremely helpful and very easy to follow along to (I barely had to pause the video), which is insane for a notion tutorial. You also have a very nice voice, which makes a 54 minute tutorial at lot more bearable, lmao. I have an additional question: I'm planning to use this as more of a progress tracker for my drumming sessions, as opposed to a task manager for different areas of my life. As such, my "areas" database, are different drumming "masteries", such as double bass training, coordination, writing drum parts, etc. To reflect this, I want my total xp for all these different areas or masteries, to count up and (when reached a certain amount) to level up that skill. In other words: if I only practice my double bass technique every day for a month, that "mastery" should be at level 10 or so, while all my others are still at level 1. In addition to this I am planning to add specific achievements that, when reached, give a major XP boost to that specific mastery. For example if I fully master a song, which uses difficult polyrhythms, that should give a large amount of XP to the specific Area/Mastery it is attributed to. I think I should be able to work out how to get the achievements in there, but the "leveling up different areas" is puzzling. Could you point me in the right direction of how to achieve this? The XP could be based on task priority-the higher the priority, the more XP you earn. You could level up when achieving goals, and certain goals could grant bonus XP. All this XP could be used in a Rewards System where you can redeem rewards, undo your "purchases," or buy the same rewards again. That kind of Second Brain would be amazing, and I’m already trying to build it myself-but I’m sure you could make it even better! 😊

Great video, set it up super easy, works like a charm. Question though: do you have a way to automatically combine all the entries for identical project names so I have a total for time worked on a single project in different sessions? Or some other solution for tracking time spent on different projects. I'm a designer, so I might work on a project for 30 minutes, send a proof, and have to come back the next day and spend another 20 minutes making edits, so it'd be really cool to have a way to track total amount of time spent on each project. Your content has greatly inspired me to build my own Notion workspace, especially my notes, tasks, and projects, which function similarly to yours and are interconnected in the same way. However, I’m currently facing a challenge and was hoping you might have an ideal solution. A colleague of mine is using the same Notion template I built, and I want to sync our tasks, projects, and notes that are business-related. These are organized within the business life zones in both of our setups. I haven’t been able to figure out a way to synchronize this information between us without disrupting the integration of the business life zone within the rest of my workspace. Am I crazy? Can this not be used as the 'source' or 'database' for your Planner page in Notion? For instance, if I use your Weekly Planner template, is there no way to integrate Notion Calendar so that it automatically inputs entries into that Weekly Planner Template from Notion Calendar?

Is there a way to change the page title? Not headings, callouts, etc within the page body, but the actual part you have to name that's grayed out as 'New Page' until you name it - the part just under the spots to add icon & add cover. I know I can change the font using an online generator & just copy paste, but I've not found anything that allows me to change the color of the font, or even add a color box & I'd like to be able to do this if it's possible. I tried typing in a code string, but all that did was name my page as the code string I had typed 😤

Is there a way to link this to a checklist that was already made? I used your easy reusable checklist video to make a few checklists that I would love to have "gamified" into one thing instead of doing 4 different ones. Is this possible? I don't know if I explained it right, so I hope you know what I mean :')
