A little note about your editing. Please take note of the volume of the sound effects you're editing in. Maybe it's just me but I kept jumping due to the volume and the type of sounds that were being played. I hate to do this but I had to lower the volume of the video and I couldn't really hear clearly what you had to say (which is the most important part of the video). The reaction itself was great. Idk if Jinx will get a redemption arc or if she just stops being a problem. Im worried though, Ella Purnell, Jinxs VA, said that the ending made her cry and that no one will "like" the ending.

See, if I had to make a guess, I think Jinx will be at her absolute worst at the beginning of this season, doing all kinds of damage and destruction, and many people in the undercity will follow her example and start a rebellion Ambessa will push for a full scale invasion of the undercity to stop them, but Caitlyn won't want that and will suggest a compromise: Sending herself and a small strike team in to take down just Jinx and Silco's lieutenants, which will cause the rest of the undercity to give up with no more leadership. Caitlyn is a sniper after all, not a bomber or a wild machine gun user. One well placed shot in the right place can end things without collateral damage But also, I think over the course of the season Jinx will get a redemption arc and actually become the hero and defender of Zaun that people see her as, and at some point Caitlyn will have to choose between her revenge on Jinx and what's best for the people of the undercity. And you know Cupcake will make the right choice

I don't know how to speak English so I'll say it in Spanish haha Crwby quería hacer cambios en los últimos capítulos pero no pudieron hacerlo ya que estaban casi terminados y por falta de presupuesto tuvieron que cortar algunas cosas y colocarlo en el vol 10 (Como vimos en el epilogo que salió a hace poco que ese iba a ser el final original) recomiendo mucho verlo para poder entender mejor algunos puntos. En el guión se decía algo así" Ruby looks both different and more herself than ever" así que no era necesario que su apariencia cambiara a no ser que ella no se eligiera a si misma, ella ya no es la misma Ruby desde que salió del árbol y no es necesario un cambio para notarlo. Tampoco me haría sentido de que su emblema cambiara ya que este no es uno cualquiera, es el que comparte con su madre y tiene en él la promesa de Summer, de que siempre las amara tal cual son, y como dice la letra de RLR parte 3, Ruby será quien era Summer y será aún más. Comparto que me gustaría que el equipo RWBY se sentara y hablaran del tema, que WBY le digan que siempre estarán con ella por que la aman, que nunca quisieron poner tanta presión en sus hombros, que no tiene que cargar con todo sola de ahora en adelante, creo que se merecen un momento de solo el equipo RWBY; como dije antes quizá esto no lo abordaron aquí por falta de tiempo, habrá que esperar al volumen 10. Somewhat es de lo más adorable, amé su diseño, claramente se inspiró en Ruby e incluso el herrero lo menciona, el impacto positivo que tuvieron en el Ever after y como ellos a su vez tendrán en otros, es muy bonito, además que sea más grande es genial ya que los de su especie tenían el problema de que eran muy débiles y presas fáciles Amé todo el volumen 9, sin duda es de mis favoritos, Ruby es mi personaje favorito y ver su arco me hizo llorar y me dio tanta satisfacción su resurgir

Hey new to your channel, loved volume 9 of RWBY. Sorry in advance about this comment its a long one. But I wanted to get my own thoughts across about bits that were brought up. If people agree with what I've said, cool, if they don't, also cool. Not looking to convert anyone here. People have their opinions and I respect that, just providing another point of view. With regards to Ruby and how people say she suddenly got over the fact that she basically killed herself and that being herself is almost like a cop out. I would like give my opinion. Whether my opinion of Ruby is right or wrong I can’t say this is just my thoughts. Ok I'm not blind. Ruby has gone through A LOT in the span of about 2 years in story (its just a guess as to the amount of time but to me that seems fitting so that would make Ruby 17 in this volume, the same age that everyone else in the team was when they started at Beacon) and its true that she either hasn’t given herself the opportunity to process what happened and how she is feeling about it, or events that transpire prevent her from doing this. I agree this is not healthy for her or anyone to do, you should definitely make sure you take the time to reflect and address anything that is bothering you, even seeking help if you need it. But this isn’t what happened with Ruby she kept it inside and kept trying to live up to being the hero and always being happy, boosting everyone else up. Until she snaps. At people she cares about very deeply. Just because she didn’t apologise to them in this volume doesn’t mean she won’t ever. It may come up next volume, however the sentiments that Weiss, Yang and Blake say about Ruby and the look that they each give Ruby when they line up with her, convey so much behind their words. Weiss has a look of understanding and acceptance she would never hold how Ruby acted against her, shes the one that would understand the most. Yang has a look that she always has had for Ruby ever since volume 1, the proud older sister. She was worried and shocked that Ruby had to go to these lengths to show that she wasn’t ok, and no doubt blames herself for not realising sooner. But shes proud of her sister for being who she is and having the strength to find herself again. Blake’s look is softer but still proud like Yang and harks back to what she told Ruby in volume 8 that shes always looked up to Ruby that she felt inspired by her. This look to me speaks of a deep care for her team mate, her friend, and saying to her “we forgive you, we are with you always”. They had worries sure but they had faith that Ruby would make the right choice for herself. People who have been watching this series from start of volume 1 to the end of volume 9 and yet still say that Ruby choosing to be herself is a cop out, ask yourselves this question. Are they the same character that you met in volume 1? To me, Ruby certainly isn’t, she’s grown and changed like everyone else, subtly behind the scenes a bit, but still in her own way. Its not just Ruby. EVERYONE in this team has gone through their own journeys of finding out who they want to be, how they want to carry themselves through life. Each has gone down different paths to get them to who they are now. It is still a journey of self-discovery much like what Ruby is going through in this volume. Which is why when Weiss, Yang and Blake confronted themselves with Herb’s smoke they were able to go “no I know who I am, and I wouldn’t trade any experiences I’ve had in my life because they have shaped me into the person I am now”. To the point of Ruby drinking the tea essentially ending her life as it is in this moment and thinking that her choosing herself is cheesy and whatever. The cop out would be her choosing to be someone else. Choosing to be someone else would mean that she forgets all the memories good and bad that got her to this point, that she was a leader, a sister, a friend to many, a beacon of hope to many more. All the good that she did do during her journey to this moment, just by being Ruby. She says it herself! “Are you just trying to tell me that its useless? That I shouldn’t even try? Is that the big lesson I’m supposed to learn? Just give up? Become someone else?” shes angry, annoyed when she says this as though shes annoyed that someone would even suggest she give up. She doesn’t realise she brought it up herself not the blacksmith. Ruby: “I wanted to be the hero. Like the stories that my mum read to me. I just wanted to do the right thing but every step of the way its like, its like theres no right thing. I tried so hard, and I may have just done more harm than good. I don’t understand who I need to be, because who I am right now shes not cutting it.” Ruby says this when she talks to the blacksmith. However, when given the TANGIBLE choice of becoming someone else and leaving Ruby Rose behind she is shocked but drags her feet choosing (this is a girl who LOVES weapons, for younger Ruby this would be an absolute dream too look at all these weapons). She goes around looking at each weapon, NONE react to her touch or call out to her but her Mum’s weapon and her own. She breaks the case that her Mum's weapon is in yes, but this speaks to me as if to say “I’m not her, and never will be”. Remember all these weapons represent a person Ruby COULD become if she chose to. She could’ve chosen to be like her mum but the broken case signifies that she would never try to be her mum, no matter how much she loves and misses her, and also how much she admires her. Note the tree/blacksmith doesn’t answer in absolutes they are a guide and would accept whichever answer Ruby went with. They ask questions rather than give a simple yes or no. “You don’t know what you want do you?” “you could put any of them on and leave Ruby Rose behind” “and how do you measure enough?” as if they were acting like a subconscious. Around Ruby goes looking at different weapons but none are ‘her’ none are the shoes in which she feels she could step into. Another symbology moment, she eventually collapses in front of Alyx’s dagger. Directly BEHIND her is Crescent Rose. Alyx’s dagger to me represents the hero in the books like what Ruby said at the start when she meets the blacksmith in this realm. “I wanted to be the hero. Like the stories that my mum read to me” a fantasy person that always did right and always triumphed over evil she could’ve chosen Alyx’s dagger and become one such hero. Crescent Rose being directly opposite signifies that this is the important choice be you or who you would pretend to be, the rest of the weapons don’t really have any significance, except the crossed swords I feel like they are hinting at Cinder here, because in choosing to be someone else she could choose to be a bad person or a good person. Curious that we never saw Crescent Rose until now considering the weapons were arranged in a circle. Not only was it there at this moment but it was glowing which says to me, whether Ruby consciously knew it or not, she was already choosing herself. If she truly felt and believed deep down that Ruby Rose was not enough, Crescent Rose would never have appeared. Her mum’s voice guiding her to who, deep down, she still wanted to be. She didn’t even need to touch the case, she didn’t even need to say any words, and the rest of the cases disappeared, as if knowing this was her choice. It takes great strength in spirit and will to make the choice that yourself IS enough, that you don’t HAVE to be any MORE or DIFFERENT than who you are to be accepted, cared about by the people around you and especially yourself. Certainly Yang being her sister, but Blake and Weiss also, cared about Ruby even before all hell broke loose, and it only grew through adversity. That sort of bond would not be broken over petty words said in anger. Because to them. Ruby is happy and child-like, mischievous, compassionate, always willing to help out wherever she can and who ever she can to the best of her ability. She is also scared, angry, sad, worried. She has thoughts and feelings, strengths and flaws just like anyone else. But to team RWBY. Ruby is Ruby and to them that’s all she needs to be.

I'm still mad that Ruby never apologized to her team for all the hateful things she said a couple episodes ago. It doesn't matter how depressed she was, it doesn't excuse her behavior. Especially when everyone has tried to help Ruby the whole time, but she just kept pushing everyone away. I think everyone treats Ruby like she's perfect, but she isn't. She has her faults and flaws just like anyone else. But nobody ever acknowledges them. Ruby has made plenty of mistakes, but it seems like Ruby never takes responsibility for her mistakes. Ruby couldn't handle the pressure of being a leader anymore, but she treated everyone else like it was their fault instead of just admitting to herself that she screwed up and learn how to move on.
