This is so crazy. Imagine telling aesop every kid for thousands of years would know his stories

How about some editing? We don't need to hear about the boy who cried "wolf" a dozen times.

This is one of the best modern fairytales.

This book could be used to teach kids about the concept of show don't tell and to explain to them that people can have false beliefs about themselves. Other writers might do it better but this is a great introduction.

Can you stop being so PX? Aesop wrote of male characters almost exclusively.

Thank you Mark Smith of Simpsonville, South Carolina.
Thank you for your efforts in reading this long story to us. I have never read it even though l’m in my late seventies. It was so detailed that a second hearing will be just as enjoyable as the first.

Forgive me I was expecting a Orson Welles type of audio book and all this did was put me to sleep after 20 minutes absolutely horrible until I saw that an Englishman did the narration that that explained that question!

The narrator's voice is perfect for this story. And his reading is beautiful.

Have always enjoyed movies based on this novel but this is the first audio version I have listened to of it. Really worth the time to hear it! Such a remarkable and inventive story. Made it so plausible. Thanks for sharing!

Mark Smith is world class but I really need Treasure Island to be read by an Englishman.
