I had the original single with the steel folding lawn chair type of seat. I used it extensively in Indiana state. I loved sitting in it on rainy or snowy days with my Ruger model 77/44 weatherproof, 16" barrel. I felt like I had just enough room in it. I definitely recommend fluorescent orange flagging nearby. I wouldn't be interested in the 4 leg scissoring style chair at all. I Suggest utilizing a foam seat cushion with those to avoid the frame resting across the back of the thigh. It can get painful !

Another great video. Pro Tip: If hunting out of state stop at the first convenience store you pass and buy a decal of whatever state or state's sports team you're in and put it on your back window. Maybe the pissed off locals will see it and hopefully think you're originally from there and will leave your truck alone. As soon as you cross back into Arkansas pull over and scrape it off the window.

Just ordered one yesterday so i can take my 4 year old with me ,i hated hunting out of a ground blind because I always have to lean and look out the window to see anything and all i wanna do is nap in one because i couldn’t see anything. This will be great to hide my fidgety 4 year old and he can see through without messing up the hunt lol

@@Cranevill the lonewolf sit and climb is lighter and smaller so I would say it depends on how much space you want if you’re wanting something with more room this stand would have that! If you’re wanting something more compact I’d go the other route

You forgot one very important thing! After cooking, you are supposed to back crank it to relax the cranking system. If you don't, it will fail!
