I'm only 16 and have lived in newham my whole life, it's interesting to know the history behind the area and the antics that occurred back then, my dads friend owned a studio where all the grime stars like wiley etc would go mix in just down the road at forest gate, and where I live rn in canning town literally a stones throw from this old boxing gym there's a real sense of community like you said, big up for the lesson though

Good little upload 👍 Yes correct Frank Bruno is indeed a national treasure. Jim McDonnel, up there with the best. Unfortunately for Jim & if my memory serves me correctly, Azumah Nelson knocked him out. it's on KZbin. A truly sickening K.O Not sure if that was his last fight? Mark Kaylor, now, there's one game. Man, if ever there was one, still remember the headlines in the paper, after his pre fight, fight, at the press conference with Errol Christie. Who he went on to beat. I think they later became pretty good friends (that's boxing for ya) Charlie Magri, blimey, all these blasts from the past. When i was a younger man, i was away with Canning town boys. All of em, game AF & tough AF. Thanks for this upload. Keep em coming.
