Bought same one (appearance wise) on amazon for 22 street bob... Got it thinking it would be nice for highway pegs... Nope too high foot placement. Also its bulky and makes the small street bob look weird. Im changing it for a flat bar style one that is exactly as high as forward controls but in front of them by like 5 inches. This will be a natural foot placement for longer rides and will make the bike look slimmer and not so weird.

Is this install using the plug and play harness?
@Bobstreet2210 ай бұрын
Yes it is for the most part but,you still have run a two wires to battery positive and negative which is already in the harness
@J_BLAZE41510 ай бұрын
@Bobstreet22 oh okay,. I wasn't sure because they sell a plug and play harness separately. It's an extra $149 for that harness. I was thinking plug and play meant that harness allows you to plug the existing headlight connector on the bike to the plug and play harness, which would plug directly to the LP6. But I guess not, kind of not really plug and play from what it sounds like.
@Bobstreet2210 ай бұрын
@@J_BLAZE415 it is in a way you plug into you stock harness that’s what controls your light the harness comes with two relays and yes you run two wires due to the amps your stock wires can’t handle those wires go directly to the battery +-

I am a first time rider and bought myself a 2022 Low Rider ST. Just finished the motorcycle course, but to be honest, I am a but apprehensive about taking my bike and keep training with it. Any advise?
@Bobstreet22 Жыл бұрын
Nice , well I can tell you this I’ve been riding for three years now and still learning but I’ve came a long way I can tell what i do just my opinion. I take it as I’m invisible every time I ride which is daily I always drive offensively because of that always expecting the unexpected always trying to read what drivers might do or there next move is I always keep a good stopping distance and always have an escape route to get me out of trouble. I always ride my ride what I feel safe what I’m comfortable with . I never push myself without knowing my limits which everyday seems to get better . I engine break to slow me down and never just count on my brakes and swerving out of trouble which I’ve done plenty of times. Always look into your turn, turn your head if you don’t you will go straight. Slow maneuvering is a great skill to learn you should watch be the boss of your motorcycle he has great content on that . You should also watch dandan the fireman great info and examples of situations you might encounter . Every time I ride I know what could happen always crosses my mind so I respect it and everything about it . Be safe and enjoy it but always within your limits hope this helped btw I started with iron 883 then street bob 114 and now the lowrider st so respect that power always I thank god everyday I make it home safe

Same bike and exhaust. Does your bike pull left now? After my install I have a decent left pull if I'm not touching the handlebars. Before the install, this bike flew straight as an arrow. I figure it was due to removing that massive OEM exhaust and replacing it with something significantly lighter but I've heard different opinions. Looking to get input from someone with the exact same set up.

Only 42 pounds difference but have to add whatever you have In the saddle bags also but I came from a street bob super light and honestly it’s a difference in handling but it’s a different set up all around but it’s handles great especially on long runs those two bikes are two different beast but I have no regrets

I have this same batwing, If you want to push it forward some, so you don't have to angle your bars back so hard, what you can do is take it off, take the bracket off of the fairing part, and stick some washers on the top bolts which will rock it forward a few degrees. It makes a huge difference and you can angle the bars more to your liking after. Funny, I saw in the comments the clamps you used for the turn signals too, I also had those same clamps on my bike, but I used them to mount some small bullet style handlebar speakers to it so they were down on the forks and hidden behind the fairing and man they sounded great like that and were also completely hidden. Sweet ride, ride safe bro

Nice looking bike. I would like to test ride the Lowrider ST vs the SportGlide. The SportGilde has a smaller fairing, I don't know if the saddlebags are the same size but, they are a quick disconnect. The monoshock has a quick adjust knob, and it has fwd controls. It only comes with the 107c.i. engine. I don't know what other differences are between the two. Also, the SportGlide is being discontinued.
@Bobstreet22 Жыл бұрын
@@ardyrides834 the sport glide looks nice , the think about the ST is adjustment is under the seat but easy to adjust it comes with special tool I haven’t had any issues never had to adjust it . The great thing about st is the suspension especially the inverted front forks . I have way less back and bottom issues with this suspension and the fairing is great I still some side wind when it’s super windy but other than that it’s great . The good also perfect amount of space for my needs I know a lot people complain about the left and right being different sizes but I don’t even notice . You should definitely test drive them see what fits you better . I should have test road a road glide but I will eventually

Not sure if you mentioned it, but did you tune or dyno after changing the exhaust?
@Bobstreet22 Жыл бұрын
I have the dynojet powervision 4 I’ve seen people say after you replace intake or exhaust your computer can adjust 10% of the fuel so no need as long you only replace one . it has it’s good and bad getting a tuner you can dyno it without tuner I believe but having tuner is way to program and check codes erase so , any time disconnect power or any connectors you get codes so it comes in handy or if you get a code you can see what it is and you can always change programs whenever you want when I get my cam I will need to dyno it and that’s the dynojet comes in handy also they can use to dyno with it , Fuelpak is also good had that one on street bob only thing is you can only pair it with one bike no programming other bikes you can check codes on another bike tho dyno jet you can buy another license to add a bike so can program and all the other stuff on another bike also , hope this helped
