i must be in the minority, but i really dont like the super clicky mouse like buttons. I have a controller with those switches and i must prefer the type of buttons you get on the xbox elite controller. the super clickly buttons, for me personally, feel cheap and i think they even sound cheap (there not, there these switches thats in the scuf controller). again i must be in the minority but i cant stand those switches.

I want this but I’ve went through a few monitors that were 4K and I returned them as I can’t tell the difference from my 1440p. I got the Neo odyssey g8, then got the ultra gear 39 inch wide screen and packed them both up within a half hour and returned to my curved dell 32 inch 1440p monitor. I just can’t justify this price for a monitor.

I simply dont understand how there can be so much blooming with over 2k dimming zones. I was thinking of getting this monitor but that horrible perf of dead space really just confuses me. Is this an isssue of the panel or the game? Also have you tested any other dark games?

I got my controller today, everything worked fine but the screen default GIF just froze and i cant change it with the software. I always get an error code and on the controller it says 2/17 uploading. need help :(

Also ordered the now old Govee g1 pro gaming light which I believe you were using with this monitor - are you able to share a view of how you affixed the light strip to the non flat back of the monitor? Any tips for camera attachment and/or any other advice?

A downside I found out after I had gotten a second one is that the backlight really does not last at all. I have 2 of these side by side, same settings, and the older one is about half the brightness of the new one. Their manufacturing dates are only 2 years apart. Another issue which I really hate is that asus removed firmware updates from their website, so you cannot update your firmware after you get it, and there appear to be significant changes between versions, with entirely new settings. Support will also refuse to give you a direct link or way to download the firmware update and requires you to send it in for repairs just for them to update the firmware for you. Your only hope of support is going to KZbin and possibly finding repair guides, which are few and many do not go into detail.

For anyone who is looking display settings for ps5 with this monitor, i highly recommend using all of these settings in this video in addition enable HDR10+ and ps5's HDR. It looks amazing for me.
