16 years old, soaking wet, freezing it is it December, 18 days before Christmas.. I just want to be warm preparing for yet another battle. I am the oldest 3 of us in a foxhole . MY GRANDFATHER, YOUR GRANDFATHER, UNCLES, BROTHERS AND FRIENDS. Ask yourself WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER AMERICA. The last battle of many I had to endure to give you want you have, MY LIFE. Wake up AMERICA, and keep it the best, safest, giving, sharing country in the World.

If I were in d-day, I would’ve been so hyped with this speech because it’s so motivational. (At the same time I really don’t. D-day was the biggest invasion in history and thousands of men died.

I think they trained for two years for this event. But our guys were also tough, most come from the farm right out of the Great Depression, they were tough as hell and I mean tough as hell. Plus they had a common sense view that the Germans didn’t possess, they out witted them in so many ways. Just like that fake army Patton was in charge of that was a great example.

Someday, probably in our lifetime, a speech like this will be delivered to the current generation of American patriots. Words that will inspire and encourage young men and women to, once again, battle against the enemies of freedom and liberty. But the battles won’t be fought across the ocean. They will be fought in places with names like, “Portland,” “Seattle,” “Chicago,” “Minneapolis,” “Baltimore.”
@ronniebishop24964 жыл бұрын
Yes that’s true, but hopefully they will grow up like we did, there were over 700 riots between 1964 and 1973 when I was a teen. So this isn’t the first. Plus that place is full of fire and smoke right now as if Mother Nature is sick of them too.

Gotta love Ike's fashion sense. He always wore the minimum required decoration, and never dressed himself up like a christmas tree the way Patton, Monty, or any other general of the period did. Most humble general of WWII.
