If I were in d-day, I would’ve been so hyped with this speech because it’s so motivational. (At the same time I really don’t. D-day was the biggest invasion in history and thousands of men died.

I think they trained for two years for this event. But our guys were also tough, most come from the farm right out of the Great Depression, they were tough as hell and I mean tough as hell. Although short, this is probably one of the greatest speeches ever made. Eisenhower probably didn't expect the speech to bring out emotions. But I shed a tear every time I hear it.
