All the culture war nonsense or that "woke vs anti-woke" nonsense aside, can we all agree that coporations abuse the concept of diversty for their benefits? Similar to how multiverse now just beign reduced to nostalgia bait(Dc-Marvel mostly)? If you gonna change it, make it sure it works. Not just threat it as a resking. Do something interesting with it, like how Castelvenia did it with the concept. Or how MCU used the concept to suprise us with MJ beign that emo girl, non of us see that coming. The way they handeling the concept is so lazy it actually creates a negative stigma around it. Because now a lot of people associate bad writing with diversty. Similar to how strong women arctype beign associate with bad writing due to do Rey and Mcu Captain Marvel beign really bad.
