Great video, wish I had found this before I purchased aftermarket flat fenders. All good though, again, well done! I have a question, realizing that this video is over 9 years old, on your hood where the decal is supposed to indicate RUBICON, you have a different script. Mine also has the exact same script, but only on the passenger side. Any idea what that is? Special edition? I bought mine used from a dealer and they didn't know. Thank you!

Caution: I installed a caliper/rotor kit on my Acura TL. The comment earlier about checking all mating surfaces (caliper support to hub assembly for example) is critical. If there is any rust, dirt or undesired paint overspray on the caliper or caliper support then you are SOL. The caliper kit I received has red paint overspray everywhere!!! All mating surfaces and even caliper bore holes had red paint applied!?! Experienced mechanics will know that this paint in bore holes will cause the caliper pins to seize up. That happened to me. I never expected to find paint there!! If you buy these kits check for and remove this overspray. I contacted Power Stop about this poor quality control and never received a response.

Thank you so much for sharing this video. The step-by-step was top notch, and your level of detail was just what I was looking for. I am not the most mechanically inclined person in the world, but I am very meticulous. For example, I was curious how you had your hoses routed in relation to the sway bar and other things. I was able to see all of that by your video an pictures. If I did not have all of this I would be in panic mode.

This video is not adequate for JK models 2014 and above as the oil filter design is different and requires special attention to how the used oil filter is removed from the filter cap and where the O ring on the cap is placed. It does matter and the consequences for doing it wrong involve a crushed filter by those in cold climates and in some cases crushed filters on initial start ups. Also, a poorly placed o ring results in oil leaks around the housing.

I just installed these on my 392 JL, did the break-in procedure as instructed on the box and now I've got squeaky brakes, the same sound you get when the brakes get wet but they're dry. Does this go away in time? It's only when near a complete stop or when letting off the brake slowly.

Hi Rocktrooper, I ordered the Powerstop rotor and caliper from Extreme Terrain and they sent me the wrong size for my 4 door jeep Rubicon 2017 model. The only thing they sent correct was the pads which fit my old OEM rotors and calipers. But they don't fit the new rotor or caliper. Really pissed off cause I had to pay thousand in shipping to Saudia Arabia.

I really want to do a similar job, but I have body color fender flares so I'm hesitant. When I upgrade o 37s though I'll have to do it or else I'll have a lot of rubbing. Most of the other videos out there say you have to take your fenders off to do it. Good to know you don't.
