Thank you Dr. Molly. This is the simplest I've heard triads explained.

Thats a nice way of teaching! I like that you do do the 'my turn' - 'your turn'. Great.

What I hated when watching other videos is how it’s ALWAYS a old ahh mf who only shreds riffs that were cool in 1965 and is now teaching directly only on the board, THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THINGS CORRECTLY
This is a VERY interesting pathway from Blues to Neo Soul

Sorry but the main issue from you is because you don't have the hand trained as srv. Is not about gear is about the way to hit every note. You need to use your right hand with more freedom your hand is looks too weak and unsure about the way to pick and hit the strings.

This is a great video especially from watching where your fingers are on the fretboard but I have a really stupid question. What do the R and 3 and 5 mean on the graphics? I can’t relate that to where my fingers should go. I know it’s my stupidity but if anyone can give me an explanation I’d appreciate it. Thank you so much!
@PickupjazzКүн бұрын
Hey there! Not a stupid question at all! Those are root (R), 3rds, 5ths of the chord!

One jazz player who used a 335 semi hollow guitar was Emily Remler. Sadly she passed away at a young age but she was a great player.

Been playing for 40+ years, mostly self taught. I've heard of the CAGED system so I thought I'd see what it was. It's just a catchy name for 'You still gotta memorize the fretboard, Padwan'.

I hope you are joking. If you haven't been able to play a pentatonic scale like this nonsense after 30 years of playing the guitar then you haven't been playing the guitar. I suppose on the upside, you would get an award for being the most inept musician on the planet 😅
