god, for once, can sonic team just make a sonic game from start to finish like THIS! Adventure Styled, straight up, get as many sonic stages as they can and cram into the game. Then you can release dlc for tails, knuckles and amy versions of those stages later. I cant believe im still waiting for that, Sonic Team and Sega know how big both SA1&2 are still to this day

Man, I appreciate this video a lot, but I CANNOT justify advocating for players to use the All Emeralds on Radar code - I feel like doing that fundamentally misses the point of the treasure hunting stages, and why and how they were implemented in the way they were. I get suggesting it as an option, but saying outright it should be on kinda misses the mark.

I grew up with Sonic Adventure 2, and I never learned how the rails worked. The tricks system, I understood, but the leaning and rail grinding switching never made sense to me. Sometimes, I'd fall off, and I wouldn't know why. To switch rails, I'd just jump and land on the rail I wanted to be on.

was hoping the mods would fix a problem i was having with the steam version, but it didn't fix it for some reason the cutscenes play slower, and the audio ends up finishing before the cutscene finishes, making the sync non-exsistent i have no idea how to fix it besides just playing the xbox port instead because this really seems like a pc issue...

SA2 Input mod by Shaddatic is out which fixes things and better miles is better than dream cast. Playing tails with as phisyics is better, also there is a new mod mager sa modmanger which is used for both games.

Shadow isn't supposed to be edgy tho people have said that shadow as a character was largely mishandles cuz in games like adventure heroes and 06 he isn't an edgelord he really does care about his friends he and team dark just aren't very outwardly emotional

The issue with sonic R is that sonic is hard to play as, yet all new players want to play as sonic. Get used to the game with a slower character.

The decompilation of RSDKv4 made it possible to finally have the mobile versions of S1 and S2 on PC and then Origins came along to ruin everything

My favorite way to get a head start on the rails, for sonic at least, is using the bounce bracelet.

See, my whole childhood I thought the rail “lean” system was actually a “balance” system. I would always turn the analog stick the OPPOSITE direction of a turn to counteract it and keep Sonic balanced on the rails. No wonder it always led in frustration. Mind blown

I use the 2004 North American version of the sonic adventure dx executable. Until after 3 days I decided to install the sadx mod installer when I didn't know that the steam version was needed, run the setup and because I was moving files around like crazy An executable of the steam version had been created in the instdata folder is crazy 😅😅
