I wish they would come to the U.S. but I wouldn't blame them if they were afraid to.

You've forgotten next to all these good bands that were springing from KYUSS...one that was founding stoner rock too at the same time. MONSTER MAGNET! Their early four records are same kick ass Rock'n'Roll! But none ever sounded like Kyuss, agree!🥹🎉😊

In the beginning was Kyuss...god saw it rocks...then light up a fire in the darkness. That was stoner rock, the guitars on fire...it brought light to the frustrated lonely & lost young people. From the Chaos (Kyuss) were born many bands...and god liked them & let them play on...this band was the first given to us from that genre...and their sons have token up the fire to many countries. Simply the best! And then god created MASTERS OF REALITY! And all the mentioned classic stoner rock bands are kicking our asses still today! Love them...the new ones arent the same anymore. Just simple pale copies...right?😂🫂❤🎉😊

Holy fck I love this band! Sounds so good! Fair enough it’s not the original line up but holy fck! Guitar and bass are nailing it and with original singer and drums it sounds fck amazing!

The first three QOTSA albums are great, but the way John is singing and Brant is drumming here, if Kyuss had stayed together with Josh and either Scott or Nick, they would have ingrained themselves as the ULTIMATE heavy band of the 21st century.

I am kicking myself in the ass right now. I’ve known about Kyuss since 1992 but didn’t care to give them a listen, because the name didn’t strike me as anything sinister or suggestive in a badass vein, if you will. And more times often than not, pertaining to personal taste, I was right. But when I’m off the mark, I am fucking lost. And I pulled a big stupid boner by not giving a wicked fuckn band a chance for a decent ear worm because I didn’t

Im not too musically literate when it comes to terminology. Is 13:00 (and a lot of the second half of this song) an example of poly rhythms?

Interesting that the part where Mancoon plays depicts them eating a large sandwich, where whenever they play Turkey Warlock live Dixie states the song is about a sandwich. And when they are being pursued by the supposed "Mancoon" character in the woods, Turkey Warlock plays. I'm thinking the two songs were originally intended to appear in reverse order on the album, or they were unsure of the order of the tracks while filming the movie. Interesting. Yes, I look way too deeply into these songs.
