The 1/10 2WD is prob slightly faster than the 1/10 4WD, if you can keep it stable.

Man I felt that moment when the Outcast went front wheel drive on you. I did the same thing to my Kraton at one point, broke a cv axle and unloaded the rear diff. I added the diff cup guards from the V2.5 as well as the dirt and rock guards for the rear arms, hopefully won't have that happen again, it's been solid so far but haven't run it a ton since the upgrade.

Thanks for the video, I just went over to JRC myself, I've gotten parts from them before for my Kraton V2. Just ordered an S665 and the steering assembly to upgrade. Stock servo was super disappointing, I was going to make a video just like this myself when the time came for the swap. I'm trying to get my RC channel off the ground, right now I have 2 shorts and my wife is my only subscriber lol

@Redeemed_RC that servo is awesome. The problem with the steering is the servo saver. I put an aluminum arm on. Just wondering if the servo will handle it. So far so good. I'll give you a sub. Thanks for watching 👍

I feel the same way about the steering on my Maxx. I'm awaiting shipment on the new Maxx servo (2085R) and metal horn (2085R) Traxxas recommended to me. I'm hoping its better precision and quicker response will equal less correction and truer aim. If you try this upgrade in yours, I'd love to see a video of it!

I put the 16t pinion in it, but it was getting super hot. I wouldn't recommend putting that motor in it.

@phillybrc they both are awesome trucks. My buddy loves his pro 4. He was running on 2s and said that's all he needed. You can't beat it for the money. I was leaning towards the associated but I found a killer deal on the Tecno.

@@RevelationRC the differential 4 screws are too thin for 6s, only 2mm. These are for the inside gear. A few of mine have snapped. I'm going to try M4 ss. I've also had issues with front short central shaft failure. Its happened a few times on mine. I'm considering switching to Arrma Kraton V5, which has 3mm diff screws instead. Plus an upgraded central shaft layout. Also advanced sero steering layout. These are issues which Traxxas should have avoided imo.
