A bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ when it came out and I love it. It's the most powerful and stable android product I've used and it's still going strong. I bought it for digital art but it's also strong enough to VERY SMOOTHLY emulate PS2 and PSP games (so says a friend 😎). The S-Pen is great and a metal pen tip with a matte screen protector is the best setup that I've found to give a paper-like feel without having to constantly replace pen tips. The pen also comes with the tablet unlike Apple and can be swapped out for xp pens. While the app ecosystem is almost always based on personal preference there are some pretty good drawing apps out there for Android such as MediBang Paint, Sketchbook, ibis Paint, HiPaint, Inifinite Painter (a favorite), Krita (best free app for drawing and animating), and Clip Studio Paint to name a few. Apple apps are almost always more expensive for no reason other than, it's Apple. I use Clip Studio Paint on my PC and I hate that in order to use it on a tablet you have to pay a monthly subscription as opposed to the option to buy a perpetual license. I believe Krita to be the best, once you edit your workspace to fit the necessities (preferred tools) giving more screen space for the canvas, but Krita doesn't have the predictive stroke/shape function that most other drawing software have which I shamelessly use the hell out of. Krita also doesn't have nearly as bad of a learning curve as most people say it does. A 7 minute how to video will have you working in no time. The most obvious drawback of the Galaxy Tab S8+ is that you can't use PC software on it unless the development team for whatever software has ported it over to Android. Something not a lot of companies have interest in doing. All together for a stand-alone drawing tablet, it's a great option for Android users and the $700 price tag isn't so bad when comparing it to many of the other options that aren't as versatile. I'm not trying to sell it but I looked around for a long time for a good stand-alone drawing tablet and after days of research comparing prices and specs I'm very satisfied with the Tab S8+. I just wish it ran Windows. 😥

Hmmm been using my ancient Surface 3,,,, yes 3 and still i like it better than those other drawing tablets. Just for art using Clip studio and I refer Microsoft's Surface tablets best so far. The format is all PC no converting etc so its my go to on the go. Little to no slow down on that ultra dated tablet still shocks me.

In HP pavillion x360 laptop touch keyboard is not appearing when i tap with my stylus pen in search bar/ text field while touch keyboard is opening when tap with my fingertips. It was working before resetting pc . After clean installation of windows it didn't get back Or restore. What to do now. I have taken help from Microsoft support and hp support they even didn't resolve this issue. Can you look into this?

is this only a windows 11 feature or also in windows 10? Only option I could find in windows 10 was to select with lasso and click "ink to text" which is not the automatic text pen.

The exchange program from microsoft for a Surface 9 pro I7 256 is 300 $ (CAD) !!!!! They can keep their surface 11 and eat shit with it. This is not a fair deal at all.

For anyone wondering, left is the 4060 and therefore the Microsoft Surface Studio 2, right is the 4050 in the ASUS ROG Flow Z13. Also consider that the Surface here has a i7-13700H inside, where the Flow has an incredible i9-13900H inside (* see note below). Not quite apples to apples, but I appreciate the test a lot :) In my humble opinion I would say 207fps average on the 4060 vs 162fps average on the 4050 paints a clear picture for the actually big difference between the two GPUs. Especially if you have a minimum framerate of 160fps on the 4060 and 109fps on the 4050. It's still above the 60fps average. Though on these 120Hz screen you might be able to notice SOME bad framepacing with the 4050. * When looking at the ingame CPU test it's actually really sad to see that the i9 has such bad test results in comparison to the i7. It just shows that most games don't optimise for core count but for single core speed. Or the gaming relevant parts of the CPU are horrible. Or the famous i9 overheating make it dump tons of potential. Probably a combination of all of them.
