What would you recommend for FlowZ13 Raphael Slim or 530 or Meta pen M2? Also, I am thinking of buying the Flow Z13 soon. Mainly for notetaking, graphic designing, presentation and a bit of gaming.

Does it have haptic feedback like the Surface slim pen? Will it wirelessly charge in the renaisser type cover?
@TabletPro9 күн бұрын
No haptic feedback and charging is via usb c

How does it compare to the sim 2? does the sim 2 give you better experience in taking notes or writing?
@TabletPro10 ай бұрын
In a few programs the slim 2 uses haptic feedback and that feels really nice. Line quality is better for artists with the slim 2. But the price difference for someone who's taking notes or writing is significant and this can draw on paper. The writing and note taking experience is going to be very similar.

Will tablet pro pen tool ever be compatible with the surface pro 7? My Raphael 520 Bluetooth pen is still not functional that software.

Does it have tail eraser? Like the renaisser rephael 530. Also. Does the tip can be change for the ones that have the white litle thing on the top of the tip. because those make less noise when I write than those with tips that are pointed.

I recently purchased one and it has had issues with occasionally stippling, even when lifted off the surface of the tablet (for reference, I am using a Z13). Do you know if this would be a problem with the tablet, the pen, or both? I have also had problems with some the section of the screen just above the charging port being unresponsive to pen and touch input off and on.

Interesting! How is the friction of the nib on glass? More/less than Surface slim pen 2?

I’ll have to check in a few days. I think it’s pretty close to the same, strangely not as much difference as you might think

Sorry to disappoint you buddy but that tip is not graphite but carbon steel. You can write really long with such tips. No need to sharpen. It works by metal to paper contact, the metal leaves a trail behind.
@TabletPro10 ай бұрын
This one is made of graphite, copper and gold. I'd be interested to learn more about the carbon steel ones. link?

@@TabletPro hi.. Couldn't find the steel and carbon one. But this video from the action lab shows many types. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipKroKmhmtyUaNUsi=zcFjNEa2KzDBFQuR

yo, I have the flow x13 2023, windows 11, 4050, (4050 doesn't come with the pen 2.0) and I was just wondering if it is compatible with it. Also, how much are replacement nibs? Does it come with replacement nibs? Thanks.
@TabletPro9 ай бұрын
Yes it’s compatible. What type of work are you doing? I’m not sure price for extra nib. Checking

@@TabletPro Thx! I'm a student, and i just don't want to spend $130 on an asus pen, and i found this. I'm also thinking of getting more into online art, as I do most of my art on paper, so i thought i might make the big transition. Also, are there variations, or only one type? Cause i saw on the 530, there were multiple, and they were each compatible with seperate things. I'm sure it's the one in the vid though, so you don't have to answer. Thanks again! Also, on renaissers website, they list it for $19.99, but it is sold out. On amazon, like you said, it's $39.99. I know this is a bit much, but does it come with a screen only nib too? Thx.

I would be SUPER concerned as to what kind of damage that would cause to my screen, over the long term. I'm just gonna let you be my Guinea pig on that one. 🤣
@TabletPro10 ай бұрын
oink...??? The tip DOESN'T feel abrasive on the screen at all. That's a good question though. Is there some part of the tip composite that is harder than the glass of the screen?
@GrantSR10 ай бұрын
@@TabletPro I don't know. And that's the problem. The graphite in is actually a composite of graphite and clay. Clay is silica. All it takes is one corner of one particle of silica to be harder than that glass. Then another corner of another particle. And so on. Plastics and rubbers are safe because we know that no part of that can ever be harder than glass. A graphite-silica composite is a lot closer to the hardness of glass, so random particles can cross that threshold. When I was a kid, I accidentally made a huge scratch with the corner of my steel lunchbox, even though one would think steel is softer than glass. But, that corner had been beat around some, so its crystalline structure had changed, in just the right place, to be harder than glass. It literally just rubbed against the glass as I was going out the door. That's my problem with that graphite tip. You never know when some part of that is gonna be, or get pushed over that threshold. Besides, why would I want a tip that is going to be hard, and possibly brittle. I'm sure their engineers thought of everything. But then that's what Elongated Tusk said about the Tesla engineers.
