I'll be sad when DVD's are gone soon. The director commentaries were always so cool extra. I'm sure it was acknowledged out outside of it, But in real life, "Stillwater" was the Gregg Allman band that Cameron Crowe went on tour with and Greg was Billy Crudup's character. Penny Lane was a real band ho Cameron Crowe met (The Beatles made a song after all) and Lester Bangs was a real DJ who you can google and was real too.

He was in the right under the laws of his state to use force to defend his property they were on his property. The only reason he served any time is because he curb stomped the guy and it was seen as "excessive"

This is my favorite movie ever. Theres something really magical about it, it really resonates with me. And for a couple hours i feel happier, inspired, and it feels like im on an adventure. It takes me out of my reality and theres really nothing else like it. This movie inspired me to follow my dreams even more.

Also, angeblich soll die Band, die Cameron Crowe da begleitet hat, die Allman Brothers gewesen sein. Das glaub ich aber nicht so. Jason Lee sieht eher aus wie Paul Rodgers in seiner Zeit bei Bad Company, überhaupt wirkt die ganze Band wie eine Tribute Band der genialen Band um Paul Rodgers. Sogar die Songs der Band Stillwater klingen wie Bad Company.

Fuck that. Fuck the world or impossible things. Do what you want to, as far as you can. I'm 23 so im right in that period you mentioned, but seriously people take time to develop. I'm just only beginning to realize what I want to do with my self, and I'm not there yet. If you have the chance to find and do what you want, take it. If what you do is what you like, there will always be inspiration. I'm still just a sucker at a university, but I've seen a lot. People can change and do what they want. I know people of 40 years that just decided to fucking quit their jobs and study the same thing I do now - to do what they want to. Cause they got inspired. Cause they got bored by this money make/spend-society. Because why the fucking hell not? The world only seems impossible as long as you look at it that way. Whats truly impossible is only one thing: Comprehending what a human is capable of. Humans can go into dark abysses or walk on clouds. They just need some will to go these ways. That will, that inspiration if you want, is a fucking hard thing. How do I know, you ask? Because I'm only just getting a little grasp of it myself. You know that moment when you sit on your couch, in dire need of a cold beer. You raised your ass a little already, but for a moment you are kind of stuck in that weird position between sitting and standing up. Thats me right now. The difference between standing up and letting yourself fall back again is only one: You and how important it is for you to get that cold, really good beer. And after watching and drinking with my grandparents multiple times, I know one thing for sure: A good beer is good for everyone, no matter the age. As is the willpower to do what you want. There is no inspiration if you will not seek it, as well as there will be no beer for you if you're not standing up to grab that bottle. Dumb ass metaphor if you're not drinking, but I hope you get that thought process. Everyone can do it - You just need to make yourself do.

I actually got sad after watching this, because it ended. I got sad , because I knew that life doesn't end at the best moment instead it continues on until your worst moment. I got sad because I'm lonely loser who gets jealous of a character in a movie. Maybe I can have an awesome life story and write a book about it one day. I really hope so.
