Wow..I had not seen the original trailer before. The movie was really amazing and delivered a powerful message that hopefully a lot of people take into consideration. Perfect performances by both Edwards!

the best line in this movie is when the teacher asks Derek "Has anything you've done made your life better" I think some of you and more people in general with these racist hatred attitudes should ask themselves the same.

I'm not sure where you pulled those stats, and who knows if they are accurate/credible, but speaking from my own experience, I have a passport, I've lived and studied in Valencia, Spain. I've lived with Italians, Spaniards, and Pollocks, visited 8 different countries, and have good friends all around the world.

i love this movie, but i don't think it's supporting racism; instead it opens up a forum of opposing viewpoints. they just don't hate for no reason. they actually support their reasoning. however, the lesson at the end quoted by danny or edward furlong is the best damn part of the whole movie. it's basically a story of redemption,how hard it is for someone to forgive, revenge, etc. i'm no racist, but i feel they should have had more "enemies" than just the black kid at the end.
@wunch16 жыл бұрын
wow...edward was really buff then...

That was briefly shown in the prison. Thanks to the black guys, Vinyard survived prison. So there is empathy for the black people in this movie.

What I don't get is this: how does he get paroled after serving only 3 years? He killed 2 people, I think that was very unrealistic!
@ryangoods79496 жыл бұрын
He was in the right under the laws of his state to use force to defend his property they were on his property. The only reason he served any time is because he curb stomped the guy and it was seen as "excessive"

@LucasG199017 жыл бұрын
you're goddam right
@ddut88718 жыл бұрын
What ItalianWarrior777 said is just stupid; goes against the very essence of the movie. Have you even seen it? On another note, Edward Norton's performance is phenomenal. I recommend for everyone to see this movie. Careful though, the themes might be too "excessive" for some people. The racism is acute in this particular movie. Not recommended for younger viewers...
