Another great masking kit. You guys outshine the competitors. Look forward to ordering and building/painting. Although my paint scheme will alter drastically than yours (I live in and alter dimension), I'm eagerly waiting for these masks to go on sale.

Excellent eye on those "E"s not quite touching the center! I had to go look at photos of the studio model as I never noticed that! Looking forward to these masks!

Very good information, the many issue with masks lifting paint is the person painting, does not alloy time for the paint to dry, because most painters mix wrong or not understand the drying times, to counter this issue, let the paint dry for five days, then apply your masks if the paint still comes off the paint mix was to much thinner and to little paint, if you mix it right and let it dry for five days it will be ok and no mask will lift the paint 🤗 happy painting and masking people 🤟

12:19 one of my issues with the studio model aztecing. Id love to build a model one day with aztecing that's more in unison with the grid lines and geometry of the model (like the refit enterprise and the E-E). Let me know if you do ever make alternative masks for this ship!

3years late, but WOW - I am SO shocked to finally see someone get the inboard emitters color CORRECT !!! Purple,… yessssss. And it looks like a matte or brushed surface; CORRECT ! Now… Just two tiny suggestions: -Use less white. The purple is ‘slightly’ darker. -try to purple-ise the light,… again ‘slightly’- If you don’t do either of these,… you are still MILES ahead of every other build I’ve seen. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 🖖🏽

2:15 in and I learned even more....Thanks Gary Chomiak, again for your efforts to help the modeler build. One question, as you show them here. The 2 boxes that go on the sides of the shuttle bay, are you seeing them as having issues vs the filming model? Also, what tape are you using here? Sorry it that is stated and I missed it.

for that bottom circle bit, instead of creating a mask that goes around the circle - and going through difficulties with placing the mask on paper etc, why not just get people to paint the circle the browny colour, and then put a circle mask on it to protect the colour?
