And what is a corrupted skill? What's the down side of being "corrupted"? And why isn't this bricked and the other ones were bricked and he sold them? Corrupted means it was modified with corruption in any way? As a placeholder so you know you just used vaal?

I think everyone is missing the little detail why this build is OP. One of the imprinted aspect is kinda buggy or intentional. It is "Gain increased Crisitcal Strike Damage equal to 70% if Block Chance". Here there is no cap for block chance when this calculation is made. And also from the other imprinted aspect "Gain 15% Block chance per resolve stack". So Because of these two aspects his critical damage goes nuts.

I got a Perfect orb the other day but I have never got a Greater orb, and I can't even use it until i get a greater orb. 110 hrs playtime. Its actually crazy.

The thing is that such builds are only possible with a lot of investment. If they nerf now skill XY it will only make it unplayable for 99% of the playerbase who also play the skill rather than punishing the Top 1%. GGG has do determine what makes it so powerful for the 1% without destroying the skill for us mortal human beings....a very tricky task.

Let’s not forget this build require the most rare and expensive gear in the game in almost every slot. It should be that goos when it takes over 100+divine orbs to attain the gear

You lose the option to quality the skills that way. I mean, it gets very expensive quick if you start throwing the +20% quality on the base gem before you start corrupting them.

people dont get the value of this workaround. This helps a lot if you don't need max links on a skill gem. also is a big help on starting builds as it's a cheap way to access 5links. huge damage boost yet cost efficient early even when greater jeweler's doesn't drop yet.

Nice!... seeing this just kill any hopes I had for a more slow paced melee arpg as they said they did it right this time (only at early stages, campaing)... but that's it the same nonsense as D4 on endgame builds... one skill and boom! everything is gone...
