Thank you, I had triple bypass in September 2023. I did not want to know what happened during the surgery until now. I just wanted to get through it. I am fourth generation to have bypass, so I knew what I had to go through after the surgery. This explains some of the aftermath I experienced. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I'm a nursing student and find this so interesting! I know I won't be doing this myself but knowing what procedures entail helps me understand treatment plans for disease processes.

I had a Quadruple Bypass in 2018! I have not stopped Praising the Doctor and Staff that performed that procedure. Yes! It comes with a price. There's a lot of post problems but at least I'm alive to have to deal with them. Additionally, I didn't have to sell my soul over to the devil but it's important to turn your Heart over to the Lord. Thanks God for the Surgeon's, staff, administrators and most of all My Family. My Wife is a real Hero, without her level of help and support I'd be a basket case. This can not be easy for someone without support. I have a new normal and a new found love for my fellow man! 💗💗💗💗💗 Oh yeah! I cannot forget my Cardiologist. She was the one Person that was instrumental in getting this all set up and recognizing that issues I was have. Thank you Dr. Dawn Christopher without all my Heart 💖

@Joel Rahmatulla sir, after open heart surgery, do we close the fibrous pericardium with sutures or leave it cut or join it otherwise, before closing the chest?
