Just got my order in today. Ordered 4 hangers the bungee system and 3 Molle holders. Love the products. For anyone thinking about ordering, the products seem super rigid and of great quality / design. I’m definitely happy with the purchase
@Xng88Ай бұрын
The j hook only work if your sticks are not tape with stealth tape on. Otherwise, tie them down with bungee cord.
@innovatingtheoutdoorsАй бұрын
@@Xng88 why wouldn’t they work with stealth strips?
@Xng88Ай бұрын
@innovatingtheoutdoors idk. I try it and it didn't work.

If you have a large enough loop or eye on one end, send it around the tree normally, in either direction. With the other side of the rope, just form a loop, or byte, and stick it through the center of your loop or eye. Next, with that D-link, or in my case a carabiner, clip it OVER both strands of the loop/eye and BEHIND your byte. Tug/cinch it to the tree. There more than enough friction in that so it won't loosen up. At least not without being intentional about it. Cost you an extra carabiner, easy to do in the dark, gives you someplace to hang stuff, offers a quick disconnect and gives you an extra carabiner for unforeseen" circumstances. (NOTE: Good for a tether, not useful for one-sticking).

So I bought the dewclaw, I am a tree stand hunter so I throw the dewclaw around the tree with my left hand and then attach, is this correct? Also, I am a traditional bow hunter the dew claw would be a little better if the bow holder part was rounded off to hold trad bows better, just a thought. Thank you

I'm a tree care professional and saddle Hunter, and I have to say: the amount of unnecessary gear available is ludicrous. You can accomplish the same thing by learning how to tie a clove hitch.

Problem with that is when you go to rappel down and retrieve your rope.

Hey Kyle, just found your channel and it looks like you've listed most of your videos "okay for kids," which automatically disables the comments and that prohibits questions, answers and feedback which is very useful in saddle hunting (and many other themes).

That's a clever device that could pay dividends in the dark. One more thing to go wrong. I don't use sticks for climbing but I could see myself getting an 8mm for my Oplux as well as an 11mm for my Samson Predator. Nice touch using the Amsteel. That just insures integrity. How much does it weigh?

How durable are these? I mean a few times pulling the rope outta the tree and now it’s broke? Or like a good season of yankin the rope down and still goin strong?
@innovatingtheoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Brian, this product is very stout. I would be shocked if I have one that breaks! The only complaint I had this far is from people whose rope was stretched out of spec and the clip was “sloppy”. I have since tightened up the tolerances on all clips so they will be good for a new rope and one that is fairly worn in!

How well do these work when using a carabiner to attach the tether to the tree like most people do when one sticking so they don’t have to feed 40’ of line through the spliced eye of their rope? I love the idea but I’m trying to figure out if it will work with my set up. Would it be easy for the carabiner to slip over that piece or does it still hold it in place well?
@innovatingtheoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
So you would typically have a quick link, and then you hook in your retrieval line into this piece. When you pull on your retrieval line it will break the clip loose and then you can pull the rope through the quick link.
