Shield generator backpack tanks a direct hit from the Factory Strider cannon without transferring much dmg to your hp at all btw. Also, it's about the ability to move around with the shield backpack. It's regenerative and comes back after a short cooldown. It lets the player essentially have one extra hp bar.

I love this game, its ruined by players that don't do objectives or team support. I run engineer so i constantly build and provide repairs for vehicles. I love nothing more than hearing the team shout "well done you saved me" to then save my ass later on when i am suppressed fire. Every game if played correctly can be the most satisfying experience you can ever achieve for a FPS game. I focus on vr but this game has helped me fall in love with gaming again. How am I supposed to be good at defending if I am literally the only guy on my entire team who does it while having to to hold off two full squads with OP's near the point for constant respawns to keep the pressure on me every single game, no matter how much I try communicating with said teammates to fall back instead of running into the same MG nests over and over on the enemy point?

For newer players: it's a misconception that nodes still generate more resources further from HQ. It was the case before, but this mechanic is no longer part of the game. Currently, each node generates a flat +10 resources per minute for its respective type (Manpower, Munitions, or Fuel), no matter where it is built within friendly territory.

I'm only a bit new but love the game. The garries in the corners of the squares also tie nicely into defensive strategy, you can use them as a base to disrupt enemy flank attacks too.

Nah im disapointed with this game ,would be better if they made it like bf1 conquest or something like this is way too hard and cant play solo without voice chat ...

Sweeet, I Myself reinstalled the game this weekend. (5 months off) Took me a while to get back into it after going hard in BF. But my VET skills kicked in, had a SL 65 kill, #1 Attack Squad my second game in. It felt awesome. So much chatter in the squad and Commander. THATS what ol HLL was like. and they FINALLY fixed the fkn ADS Loading. about dam time!!! ALso game feels more laggy, might have to bump down my graphics. worked fine before i took my break.

This game is so hilariously broken. Beat the final boss with 100k power to 200 in the final round. Foragers with alchemists and Reynard+ with drummers and warhammer are unbeatable combo's

I've been playing for a year and still dont know how to access the wheel for quick marks. Have to mark everything pulling up map.

The funny thing is, while Dimeritium bomb is probably the best artifact in the game. For this deck you don't really it. The only weakness of this strategy is getting your cards shot down in the early turns by leader abilities, crossbows and those veterans that do 3 dmg against any unit using an order. They are the most dangerous. The enemy can buff all he wants, with my mahakam defenders+foragers +(5) and alchemists+ I end up with 20k sometimes. Against early aggression, I find Morana runestone and Magic Barrier coupled with lyrian blacksmiths extremely helpful. I also like Grey Riders alot in the early game to give my drummers more defense. Adepts are also extremely strong in standard battles. Because with your build you have so much extra card draw. I often use them to get more alchemists, foragers and sometimes drummers in my deck. Another great thing about adepts is you only need to recruit one straybomber. I also like to have 1 lyrian pathfinder. I didn't take Isbel I find her too expensive. Raynard+ is the best card in the game imo but I also kept Black Rayla they make an insane combo together. I like Arnjolf as well but he's not mandatory. Barnabas is great ( I also take 5 lyrian blacksmiths with me) plus he's cheap. Warhammer+Lyrian Banner, Raynard+ and drummer combo is completely busted. Its important to get the upgraded foragers and alchemists though (especially foragers) the standard ones aren't near as good. Wolfsbane and Decoy are insanely good as well. I would definately get those. Coupled with Lyrian blacksmiths and possible extra draws from blacksmiths you end up with way more turns to play than your opponent and with that way more warhammer/raynard abuse. Wolfsbane is so good man. Its spend a turn to get 2 extra turns with cards. Youll want to draw blacksmith/straybomber/adept or cards like Isbel or barnabas with so make sure you use your warhammer ability once or twice before playing it. If you got lots of extra card draw and a huge deck deck thanks to the added adepts, more extra turns are also a very valuable resource. Once you get your alchemist/defenders boosting your disgraced warriors you'll destroy every card in a single attack. I always found that, although I recognize the power of dimeritium bomb, by the time I wanted to use it I no longer needed it. Its great in chapter 2 and 3 though definately keep it until then.

the game isnt a attack defend style like you want its a Catch the Roach fucker who slips away to lay eggs. so you turn the game into search and destroy instead of how it was intended. holding / attacking / flanking / defending a point.

Its video's like these that make you want to start up the game again. Then be coaxed into being commander probably because noone is doing there job and be tired after 2 matches to just come back to it all after 2 weeks xD

I understand the thought about being free and having lots of noobs but I wouldn’t have ever played it if it wasn’t on game pass. I play almost daily and it is the one of 3 or 4 games that I play consistently. It is annoying to try and teach noobs but if they start to learn the logistics a bit for their preferred class they will enjoy the game and become a reliable teammate eventually.

This was so helpful, some of the puzzles I thought omg there's only one way to win.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix coms . Ive tried restinalling the game and reconnection of the voip setting. Resetting my wireless settings. Tried wired as well. My mic works fine. i can hear everyone. They just dont hear me. It's been almost a year now, and I've just given up on the game.

New player here! I have to agree that there wasn't much communication after the free period, in which I've also joined the game. But slowly it's getting better. I can only speak for the German speaking servers though, but the communication has been great in the last couple of matches.
