Helpful video!! Interesting to see how someone uses personal size pages fir planning in an "office" or "workplace" setting.

I can‘t use a premade planner, because for some days I need several pages and for some days there‘s just one line. Then there are weeks where I just don‘t use the notebook and I need to skip huge sections of the book. Also, if you do it the original Bullet Journal Method way, you don‘t have to prepare any pages at all. If you start a new day, you just put the date on top of the page and there you go. I would highly suggest to anyone who wants to get into bullet journaling to read „the bullet journal method“ book, learn the system and stick to it religiously for several months until you really got the basic system working. it will take some time, but once you get into the workings of migration, you can get into some advanced stuff. no additional spreads to prepare, the monthly view takes literally 5 minutes and the daily setup takes 5 seconds. it‘s extremely stream-lined and there‘s no need to make spreads for the week or for trackers or whatever, just start with the basics: future log, monthly spread (like i said, 5 minutes) and daily log, and i promise it will change your way of thinking about planning out your life. ❤

@@marctestarossa Hi! Thanks for your comment! That’s a great point. I can see having as many pages as you need as a big advantage :) for sure a great method I haven’t trully (as it is described) tried yet.

@ to me it‘s extremely important, because it gets rid of 2 things that can keep me from writing something down. 1. is it worth writing down, because i have restricted space and don‘t know if something more important will come up during the day and 2. where do i write down the thing that just came to my mind, be it task or idea or just a random question that comes to mind that i want to think about later, for example: are long, artificial nails a status symbol, because they show that you don‘t have to work manual labour? the answer to those 2 problems is the bullet journal method, because i will never run out of space (at least not until the notebook itself is running out of pages, and even then I could just continue in the next book) and i never have to ask myself „where does that go?“ because it‘s always just at the end or if it‘s something longer than a quick note, the next free page. <3 <3 <3

I know you already have a plan for the Plotter, but I wanted to chime in and say that my Plotter makes a really good work planner. I used the monthly planner and lined paper this year, next year I intend to also include the weekly planner. I don't decorate my work planner, so the simplicity is great.

Yay I'm so excited for your video!! I always love hearing you talk about your planners and your thought process and your beautiful hobonichi weeks choices 😍🥰I resonated a lot with how you like to write anything and everything that comes to mind, and needing more notes pages ~ that's a dilemma I realised I have too, especially running out of room in the weeks! I love that you've used the beautiful Hiroko Kubota weeks as a journal, and for next year too, and it's inspiring me to try the weeks out as a journal as well. thank you so much for sharing! 💖

I THOROUGHLY LOVED this video! I watched it with great pleasure. You have a lovely voice and a cute accent, and I love the way you explained things, why you set things up the way you did, why, how you are going to do it differently next year or whatever. You also gave me a few ideas to try on my own. I JUST got my Hobonichi Weeks Mega planner in lavender, to match my purple leather zipper Weeks cover from Galen Leather on Etsy. I got it specifically because the planner is purple and so is the cover. I love it! This is my first time using Hobonichi Weeks. I only discovered Hobonichi earlier this year, and bought a Cousin from them. But everyone gets excited about the Weeks so I bought that, too! Anyway, this is the first video of yours that I've seen and I am going to look at your channel to see what else there is. Maybe there's something for 2024! Have a lovely year!

I preferred everything about the Holborn over the Malden, except at the rings were too small. I originally had a Malden. I sold it and bought a Holborn. It just wasn’t big enough so I sold that and re-purchased a Malden. It would be great. If you could pick your preferred style organizer, then your preferred size rings.

I'm just watching this in the end of March. I got more monthly from different brands this year due to additional buying of foldout monthly for year and individual foldout monthly with blank sheet at back for appointment details. I used extra for different areas like budget/expense tracker. The yearly foldout monthly to keep track of all appointments, birthdays and events. Individual foldout monthly for events to keep track of time and location. 😅

Thank you for this detailed explanation. Something you said really shocked me because I've never thought of it before and it's totally contrary to all the "planner peace" discourse on social media. You said you've been using the Weeks and it's been working for you for so long that now it feels like you've "done it." I sometimes get that sentiment too but it feels so great to realize I'm not alone. Sure, usually you don't leave a system that's working but once in a while it might actually be worth exploring. I love the Weeks and have been using it for years, but since the covers didn't call out to me this year, I got a Weeks sized Common Planner instead. It's a familiar size, layout and paper, but still something new and exciting to try out. 😊
@ScientistPlans11 ай бұрын
Totally worth exploring☺️ knowing what works and have it tested many times for sure makes it easier. But to me it’s not about finding THE ONE. It’s about using it. It’s not about the destination, it’s the journey😊 so I value more enjoying things. I love the hobonichi weeks. And after being the best planner ever to me, now it is where I love to journal. And I feel like exploring other options for my planner🤗
