I love you mosko , but you keep changing your mind on things like a weathervane, couple of year ago it was jacket and armor separate that was the best thing ever and now you are back to integrated armor , could have told you that years ago .... oh wait i did lol

Wondering what the difference between the Boundary and the Basilisk and maybe even de Woodsman is. And what would be most suitable for a summer trip through the Alps with a lot of temperature changes and ever so slight chance at rain. :D
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto 6 күн бұрын
The biggest difference between the Basilisk and Boundary is the materials. We use a heavy-weight Cordura® face fabric on the Boundary, whereas the Basilisk uses a lighter Nylon rip-stop face fabric. This is the reason the Boundary is CE AA rated and the Basilisk is CE A rated. If you're looking for the most protective jacket, the Boundary is the best option, but if you want something lighter or more breathable the Basilisk is the ticket. The Woodsman Pants are primarily focused and designed for off road riding. From what you've told us it sounds like the Basilisk might be the better choice.

Just received my 35L and let me say, I had no idea what to expect, I've never seen soft bags in person before, I have a 2016 yamaha super tenere I purchased used in 2017, the previous owner put on aluminum hard panniers, I have had some close calls during my adventures while riding, One particular summer evening I got into some very soft deep river edge sand and flopped over, got my ankle pinned underneath my pannier and luckily it just twisted my knee a bit, but it bent up the pannier and broke the mounting bolt on the top corner, this led me to looking into soft panniers, after countless KZbin videos and research I pulled the trigger on a set of these Mosko Moto Backcountry Panniers, I did get a very gracious military discount! Thank you Donzi very much! Yesterday they arrived (12/30/2024) and was I impressed! I never expected them to be made like a 1960s 1 ton international pickup! These things are made to enter/exit the atmosphere!! What the flip! I watched videos of riders wrecking and no harm done, I was skeptical..... but once I had these in my hands! I couldn't be more happy with the construction, the space age material! The details of quality! The attention to quality! I really had a hard time adjustifying $1400 for panniers, but Holy molly! Now I understand the cost! I love everything about them, now it's time to put them on my bike and show off my new addition and enjoy a safe and adventure filled ride! Cheers from Montana!

do you charge them all at once? i just bring a few usb-c cables nowadays
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto 6 күн бұрын
It depends on the situation and how long we've been out on the trail. It is becoming easier now that more devices are using USB-C so there are fewer cables to bring but when we bring cameras and drones the amount of cables increases quickly.
@useless274

Will these work with a pannier rack that is not even? I have a rack that goes around my exhaust on an Africa Twin adventure sports 1100. The rack that I use is a bumot rack.
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto 6 күн бұрын
Hey Smokeybear - The Alpine Panniers will work with a rack that has a bend in it. We've tested it with the OEM BMW pannier rack that has a similar bend, and the reinforcements in the back of the pannier will help keep the pannier's shape.

Is rear duffle safe for laptop like the, or any other solution ? I have to carry it most of the time,
@MoskoMoto
@MoskoMoto 6 күн бұрын
The rear duffle location is the best location for a laptop, but it will also come down to the case the laptop is inside. Depending on what bike and terrain you're riding the vibrations can be tough on electronics.

Used the 40 with Stinger 22 on a KTM 350 EXC-F for a 35 day trip. Tent camping with minimalist gear. Perfect gear, perfect size and will do the same setup on the next long ride. Never once wished I had more bulk or more weight. Thank you Mosko Moto for the thoughtful design and quality build. The gnoblin will be a welcome addition on the next trip. I purchased the tent pole bag to hold poles and also used it as convenient ‘glove box’ for easy access to small items.

There is a little bit of stretch in the waistband, but not a ton. The rest of the pants do have plenty of stretch. We think it will depend on whether you want the pants to have a snugger fit or a baggier fit. If you're in the US, we do free returns and exchanges on our apparel.

We haven't had a ton of first-person experience with the new R1300GSA yet. From what we've seen, the OEM pannier rack will likely need to be replaced since it is very different from previous generations. We'll post more information as we get more experience with the bike.

Hey Rob, Pete isn't using side luggage racks for this video but a larger rear rack. A few companies make great rear racks, like Perun Moto, Outback Motortek, and Black Dog Cycle Works.
