Ok. But how would you install a 4’ tall double gate on top of existing concrete? Is there a way to do it without cutting the concrete?

You have two choices. 1) Cut or drill the concrete post holes OR 2) use post bases & drill 4 concrete anchors (per base) into the cement.

We recommend using an electric fence to protect the vinyl. Our vinyl is made for agricultural use but it’s wise to keep animals off the fence.

Is the frame adjustable? I bought a gate and the width is 4ft 1 inch. I need it to be about 3ft 8 inches. Can the fame be cut to size?

You left out 1 very crucial step here, before you dig call 811, and have them mark all underground utilities, although this may not be 100 % that they will find them all, always dig with caution, if you feel you hit something stop and verify what you hit before digging any further. It is best to dig these by hand with hand tools although you can rent post hole diggers that are powered, but just be aware that with these machines it’s almost impossible to tell that you have hit an underground utility till it’s too late. Stay safe out there!

OMG I’d hate to work with this guy , he is NOT anything I’d call a professional installer 🙄, his techniques are elementary at best and there are quicker/easier/better ways to find a grade and level post line … I couldn’t finish watching after the gate trick HA HA HA HA

Im trying to build my one on a slight slope.. but there is no give in the pickets and the top rail.. so I can't.. But I can't see anywhere saying that they are unsuitable for any slope???? head ache!!

Why show the cutting of the picket on the table saw if youre gonna do it unsafely. No good for a how to video. Personally i prefer an angle grinder for this task anyway. Great video otherwise.

Hell no. Cutting pickets and rails on every panel is not the way to do it. Do the math and it shouldn’t have to cut pickets on every panel creating unnecessary waste. Totally incorrect way of doing it.

Thanks for your comment. We are aware you can use longer pickets but we sell vinyl nationally and many of our facilities only offer 1 size for pickets so this is a work around for those that don’t have access to 16’ pickets.

your skirt boards don't even line up dude and those grabbers look like they really hold the bottom rail support the bottom or skirt boards will sage in the heat and the top rail doesn't line up looks like shit dude and yes i've been carpenter for 40 years and do know what i'm talking about my wood fences that I would build will last at least forty years that's because I know how to build them , do you ?

The fence is still looking beautiful. It’s at least 10 years old now. The rails have not sagged and they are still locked in.

@@WholesaleVinylFencing it never did look beautiful , the material will last the elements but to install it properly and look good is the key but nowadays it’s all about how fast and how much money it will cost . I’ve been retired now for five years and I cannot compete with most on price or don’t want to compete but I will still help some if they need it

It’s faster to set all post at 7’8” and cut the rails. It’s a much faster install.

It's usually charged per post, per gate & per section. I'd charge $150 to hang the gate. I'm in Florida.
