Simply placing objects into the responsive row does not mean they will work in a responsive manner, despite what this tutorial claims-although they should!

The responsive row will position the objects vertically and horizontally depending on the size of the screen. If the object within the responsive row is larger than the screen size, you may get horizontal scrolling. Ensure objects within the responsive row are set full width with a maximum width specified (if you want them to adjust their width)

PROBLEMS! 1. The captions in the image gallery (original size) do not move with the placement of the image when selecting top or middle, so it looks wonky! 2. There is no caption when using the slide show feature, so people may not know specifically what they are looking at. 3. The image gallery placed in a responsive row does not work in a responsive manner. In fact, nothing placed in the responsive rows are responsive. All that should be automatically built in. 4. The thumbnails are too small. Too hard to clearly distinguish what it is, which defeats the purpose. 5, Professional photographers often are dealing with hundreds or thousands of photos, which may involve a variety of different image categories. Consequently, it may require the use of multiple Image Galleries which need to be linked to each other. Also, may need to create pages for each photo to highlight more expanded captions and/or other info. Everweb does not have automated transitions for this, so you have to build your own navigation tools, using hyperlinks, which don't always work. Very clunky! BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!!

@@ragesw Did that, but that Directory page remains blank white with a message; Press the "Add Page" button to add new pages to your directory". So, is the Directory a page or an action? If it is a page, I should be able to add my Master Page and work within it. However, It seems more like an action or place to store and link other pages, but has no design elements.

I am an iweb user and need a new platform. I like that iweb was simple to use, had a great selection of fonts and I could create a site that was easy to navigate. But I am an artist so I am constantly adding stuff. I didn't like the album format in iweb, it was clumsy and looked outdated. Also can I keep my current web server with EverWeb?

Yes, you can add any third part services you'd like with the HTML Widget and the Header/Footer code fields. If you do need a contact form though, we do offer a built in Contact Form Advanced widget. Any additional help, I recommend contacting our support team to help you.

Hi, I am very impressed on what I have found out so far about EverWeb. I have coded for many years and am ready for a software package that makes life simpler when creating websites. EverWeb seems perfect for me. My question is will EverWeb run on my older Mac OS 10.13.6? I can't upgrade the OS due to the age of the computer, but I am not ready to part with it just yet. It runs wonderfully. I will absolutely purchase EverWeb if it will run on my computer. Thanks for any information you can provide. Much appreciate it. -- Greg in Boulder, CO

@@gregoryberman1177 The version you buy will alway work on 10.13.6. It's not really something we can predict. We support as far back as the technology that we use requires. We don't have plans to drop support for 10.13.6, but it is not predictable unfortunately.

Everweb responded by saying that you have to sign out of the account and had to reload the whole website. Personally I think that is very poor on the information front no instructions on the payment receipt email - appears to be working now.

Hi, Thank you for the feedback. We have made the instructions clear after ordering now. You should only have to go to File->Edit Publishing Settings and turn on the HTTPS Secure URLs and publish.

Tried this but doesnt work - just keeps asking for money. Have reloaded the entire site twice and it has not taken even after paying for it. So whats the problem. The video seems to sugest its automatic and doesnt show the purchase and how the SSL is applied - maybe I have to wait a week?

The best way to do this would be to send it to an email that is set to forward to multiple addresses. You can set this up with your web hosting provider. If you host with us, we would be happy to set this up for you. Unfortunately you cannot do this from within EverWeb's Contact Form at the moment.

Great to hear you like this video! We may update the Responsive Row overview tutorial with the new features. We do have many new features planned for it so we may wait until some more have been implemented. Regarding the overlap feature, it is straight forward. Add at least 2 objects to the responsive row and select 'Overlap'. Then at the bottom set the overlap amount. #EverWeb will take care of the rest for you. Hope this helps!

Do you have EverWeb set to Publish to FTP, a Folder or to EverWeb (From the Publish To drop down menu). If you have it set to anything other than to EverWeb then you will not see these settings. They are available only to EverWeb + Hosting customers.

Can I simply have a header and footer WITHOUT code? I've been searching and searching to find an answer for this. I simply want to put my logo on top, and a banner on the bottom of all pages. So I'll create a Master Page with a header and footer, but no videos show how to make a SIMPLE header and footer WITHOUT code. I got Everweb so I don't *have* to code.

@@RedSunAcademy You won't lose any data if you update. Just make sure your license is still valid to download the update. You will get a warning if it is not. To add an image to the footer simply drag and drop any image into the footer section of your page. No code is necessary. I recommend you contact our support team since providing support over youtube is difficult and slower

If you change the Page name it changes the File Name but not the Navigation Menu Display name. You need to do this separately. Go to the Inspector/Page/Page Details and edit the Navigation Menu Display name.

For all those who want a PC version, don't waste your time. This is not nearly as good of a product as Muse. You don't have many custom controls. For example, in Muse you can use buttons you made in Photoshop. And when you watch these videos, they go way too fast. There are a lot of features in EverWeb I like, but overall it's not a replacement for Muse
