Searched this up because my daughter is addicted. I can go a day or two away from tv but eventually she begs and cries and then when I put it on she doesn’t want to stop. I give her warning it’s her last episode and then say “say goodbye to so and so characters” and shut it off but she cries and cries. I let her cry a minute and hug her and take her to another room and make her laugh somehow and then she calms. I need to break the cycle.

I'm fairly new to Charlotte Mason but have been homeschooling since 2008. My oldest 2 have graduated already, with 3 still in homeschool. We are in our 3rd year of using Ambleside Online. It's based on the Charlotte Mason Method and we love it! I just found your videos and they are SO helpful. When I began scheduling and figuring out narration, recitation, and all the things, I was so overwhelmed. Thank you for these videos. They are a lifesaver as I am planning our new year. Also, you have inspired me to do my heart's desire to reduce screentime, and even though my children are 15, 13, and 11, we can survive it.

Hello, I was wondering does the cherry dale book come with a link online to a place with the recording of how to say and pronounce all the French words for you and your child to listen to? I want to buy this book but I don’t know how to pronounce any French words so I’m looking for how will we know how to say the words taught in this book. Thanks so much.

Thank you. I needed this encouragement. I'm a SAHM of three little ones, and while we dont do screens alot, it is about everyday, and I think it does snowball into almost every "bored moment" hearing "can I watch a movie?" I dont want that. Appreciate the ideas here!

I watched this video the other day and loved your art invite idea, which I set up the next morning for my 3 year old while I made breakfast. He made these ice creams out of pom poms, glue and small pieces of paper and honestly it is the most creative thing he has made. Thanks so much!

Do you know what a bullet journal is? I have been using a bullet journal for several years now but I’m wondering if it would be better to use multiple different notebooks instead like you do? Is there a benefit to separate notebooks for each subject?

Amazing tips! My firstborn is 1,5 and I am currently expecting baby #2 and the amount of screen time I have and I allow him to have is just a lot... and it makes me feel so bad a s a parent so that's why I searched for videos like this one. Really love the invitation play and creative activity idea. Will surely give it a go !

Hi! I have a question about the invitation for art. I have a 2 yo, and a 5yo, how would I cater to my 2 yo for art? She loves playdoh and kinetic sand, but she's not got enough dexterity for cutting, pasting, etc. like my 5 yo (who will looove this idea!). Thank you!!
