This seems to be a common problem that a lot of users have. The advice I usually see is to restart Acrobat Pro. That worked for me when I ran into this problem, but doesn't seem to always fix it. helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/fonts-not-added-to-menu.html

I would suggest setting up the buttons differently. Instead of needing to click a big image to get it to disappear you can each of the small images so that when you click one, not only will its corresponding big image appear but it will also make the others invisible at the same time. Then you could add a hyperlink to one of the big images without it disappearing when you click on it.

Have you tried quitting and then re-starting your Creative Cloud application? I also had this problem once and that fixed it.

Unfortunately, this functionality is gone now that Adobe no longer supports Flash.

The person you are sending it to is probably viewing it on a web browser or opening with an application such as Preview that does not support interactive features. Interactive PDFs need to be viewed on an application that supports interactive features, such as Acrobat.

Yes, that's the issue. I hope they come up with a workable solution soon.

@@rmeeds1 it appears to work on mac controls are similar to QuickTime. moving off video appears to show or hide controls. There was a recent update.

Thanks for the comment. No, I don't know why you're getting different options, except to say that when I try it now, I also get the reduced set of options, so I'm guessing this was a change in an update in the last couple of months. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Hi, I'm not sure I quite understand the issue you're having. So are you trying to put an ad on an InDesign page and be able to get to it from the Table of Contents even though you don't have any text in the table of contents character style on that page? If, say it's a full page ad, I think you should be able to set the text "Somebody's Ad" in the TOC character style but hide it underneath the ad. Then it should appear in the Table of Contents even though you wouldn't actually see that text on the finished page.

@@rmeeds1 It's not a full page sadly. We have to reference and link to other pages using a table of contents. Just trying to wrap my head around it. I am a student so this is all new to me. Thanks for replying btw :D

I'd recommend checking the show/hide buttons and forms settings you have under the actions for each button. You could try setting the thumbnails to hidden.

@@rmeeds1 Thank you for your reply. I managed to fix the issue by creating the invisible box for the button and not. turning the thumbnail as the actual button. Quite complicated but working well.
