Problem 1: Why did you put the EOL resistor in the panel instead of the END OF LINE? (in the panel defeats the purpose of the EOL resistor) Problem 2: The transformer is internally fused, so the AC wires should be connected to the transformer and panel before plugging in the transformer in the 120VAC outlet, You missed the step of plugging in the transformer Problem 3: The battery MUST be connected after the transformer is plugged in!

It does not matter what keypad you use Also you do not need to color code the wires so you can check the panel

Hello i'm new in this field and im using a sensor Honeywell DT-7235T and i want to connect alarm with it, the sensor is working when i plugged but when it try to connect the alarm with it doesn't trigger ! anyone can help ! they are 4 pins 2 for power and 2 for alarm and there is also the tamper ? should i connect the tamper to trigger the alarm ? thanks for help.

Help I do I delete a Zone in my Honeywell alarm pad it shows 09. This 09 showed after my attempt to add a user code. I can bypass 09 but need to remove it.

Very helpful video. worked on the ADT Safewatch Pro Custom 3000. tried the manual with no success but this made it really easy to turn off some wireless zones I no longer needed. Also tried to trigger them to see if any fault would come up but nothing, so successful modification. Thank you!

Why are you teaching them to install the End-Of -Line (EOL) resistor in the panel, This provides NO wiring supervision. Example: If a wire to wire short develops on the field wiring of any zone wired this way, The panel will not respond to an intrusion, making the installer liable for any loss sustained, Insurance companies will destroy you in a courtroom for negligence. This is not wiring according to the manufacturers published instructions. I am very familiar with this control panel, Please learn to install properly before teaching others to do it the wrong way!

It took about 2 minutes to synchronize with the main panel and then we we're back up and running. All in all it was a 10-15 minute replacement at the most. I like the alphanumeric display much better than my old fixed display too!*

How to add a name to code number?

I’m renting a home and my son pushed a bunch of different buttons on the key pad and set the alarm off, which wouldn’t disarm so every time I we opened any door the alarm went off. In a panic I cut the wires in both keypad, but the alarm was still going off. I found the motherboard where all these wires are and unscrewed all of them and that worked. My question is who I do call to fix the keypad that I cut and does anyone know how much that would cost? Thank you in advance.

Not looking at the wiring schematics, but looks like your alarm panel is incorrectly wired. Your resister should go on the zone ( really needs to be in the field, but inside the panel is ok too ) but keep the resister on the zone terminal and the return wire on the common terminal. On this panel AC wire doesn't have positive and negative. It's AC, It's Alternating Current. Only terminals 3,4,5 matter for power. 3,4,5 are DC. And why is he using this screw driver ? Use a real screw driver.
